Everything was delicious and the owner was very attentive and answered whatever questions we had about the food. Definitely a great spot for some hearty homemade food.

We discovered this little treasure by accident and we’re so happy that we did. It’s incredibly hard to find somewhere were they actually poach eggs to perfection, the scrambled eggs were well cooked and creamy. The coffee was perfect too, no burnt or bitter taste. The service was excellent

Came for lunch recently. Had high expectations as so many people rate this restaurant. I have not eaten at many polish restaurants in my time so admittedly I'm not well educated with this cuisine. We had the pickled veg and the smoked salmon. The pickled strawberries were very delicate and enjoyable. The smoked salmon was ok. For mains I had the goulash and my friend had eggs. Prob wouldn't order the goulash again. Didn't really like the fried noodles with it I prefer the boiled ones. The hamburgers looked excellent. The service was friendly.

If you don't want to have food at Southern Market, this might be a good place to relax and enjoy the chill morning. Good exotic good with Filipina waitress service.

Perfect place for some pierogi and polish beer.

Tried the chicken liver, ruskie, truffle, and black pudding pierogi and they were all delicious!

White sausage is not bad either.

I really liked this restaurant/cafe. I didn't really eat Polish food so I don't know if I can give a true review on whether its a good Polish restaurant but I had a coffee and Eggs Benedict and it was really good. The owner or manager was training someone on coffee who served me the espresso and it tasted quite good, as well I overheard him being trained and it was a very polite and kind training session despite having to pull the espresso a couple times. I would definitely come back.

We tried different places for breakfast takeaway near South Melbourne Market over the last two months while we were staying nearby. On our very last day we tried Tipsy Village. It is the best of them all! On our last day there!

This is the best European restaurant I’ve been in Melbourne! This place reminds me of my childhood on my grandma's farm in Poland.

Perfectly balanced flavors, they really cook with passion. I recommend Russian dumplings, “bigos” and white sausage. Excellent!

The owner is chatty, very professional though. Everything was served on time, we also had a great chat with him and learned a lot about the way they prepare the dishes.

They have wide range of bear and spirits, not only Polish

Wonderful place. So glad I went in, there are many offerings on this street this one feels special. Delicious breakfast. They elevated a simple bacon and egg muffin into the stratosphere, with the freshest jug of orange juice (here with Mimosa - you get your own piccolo to top up, just brilliant). As always service makes or breaks a place and the service here is A+. Will be back to try the polish dumpling menu asap.

Really authentic Polish food. The chef is really nice and informative. Staff know the food well and very attentive. Well be going there again to try the rest of the menu. Just loved it.

Found this hidden treasure! Such a lovely restaurant, can tell from every corner every wall that it was full of dedication and passion. Indoor and outdoor seating are both lovely, the menu is full of surprises! You can order those typical cafe breakfast but highly recommend you to try the Polish dishes! The food was presented with perfect plating and the right portion. I was so fascinated by the bar and its wall of jam/ fruit. Staff members were amazing, very helpful and friendly, all of them seemed to love working there! Will definitely go back again!

Absolutely beautiful food and beautiful service. I recommend to anyone who's passing through the area. Right next to South Melbourne Market too. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Such a lovely experience.:)

Love this place! Food, drinks and Peter, who is the owner and an amazing host. He will approach to tell you stories and make you laugh. Food is just delicious and the place is a total gem with a lot of charm. My fresh squeezed Orange juice (or mimosa, up to you) it was delicious, the orange juice was in a jar and I was able to top up three times! Vitamin C in a cold Sunday. We are planning to come back for dinner and try the dumplings. Thanks Peter for the laughs and stories.
