Tip Top Blinds

I write this review just as part of the order is being installed.
Tip Top came highly recommended to me after seeing a customer's end result. I took the plunge.
Met Miri at the display office and chose fabrics, materials. Couldn't be more excited.
Then the excitement ended.

Poor communication between internal parties and their subsequent installers and measures meant repeated visits to the house which were unnecessary had the original
Brief been captured properly.

Was promised items would be read in 6 weeks and most are but some won't be until New Year.

Biggest issue is we requested motorised blinds and explained with Miri that due to the stage of the house no hard wiring solution would be possible. I guess they should have been battery operated.

They delivered hard wired items today, which the installer can't install.
Yes the contract states that electrical work is not included but I interpreted that was for the folding arm awning and zip blinds outside - particularly as I was explicit at the consult stage and my interior designer was present who can verify the conversation.

In total we ordered ten of thousands of dollars of stuff and it's not right.we are still discussing what the options are but based on all the errors and miscommunications so far I don't fancy my chances.

I would give 1 star, but the actual products are beautiful.

The team at Tip Top Blinds were excellent to work with. They helped with the planning of the most appropriate window furnishings and also helped source fabrics. My clients curtains and blinds have been installed and they are thrilled with the result. Their product quality is high with a very professional installation. I cant wait to see our next project come together.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - at all! From installation the man drilled holes in the wrong spot in our brand new home, then after 4 months the curtains collapsed nearly falling on my two year old. In another room the roller blinds completely unraveled and we’ve just had another set of sheer curtains collapse almost on my husband.

I called Tip top and they’ve told me that I have to pay and it has only been around one year since having everything installed.

I had this company put up an awning over my clothesline. After a year the awning came away from the wall. On inspection by the installers. They told me that I'd had my awning out too much. Really!
They offered to do the job properly! For $600.
Consumer Affairs informed me that the company was in breach of Consumer Law. Still no offer to remedy the situation except to pay them again!
They used screws into brick which were for concrete plus no dynobolts.
Beware of this company.

Highly recommend Tip Top - they are the best in the business! Service was faultless from beginning to end and the result in our home is magnificent. After care service is prompt and nothing is ever too much for this incredible team.

Sam and the team were extremely responsive from the start. We purchased sheer and blockout blinds for the whole house as well as a huge roof mounted retractable awning. Everything has been installed professionally and at very reasonable prices. We had a few little things needing attention with the awning and the team addressed them straight away. 100% recommend.

After arranging an appointment cancelled with 1 hour notice period after we had organised, work, care, travel for our kids etc to meet them.medical emergency apparently might be true but 60mins notice and not one other person could drive 15 mins to come meet us

Came an hour late and did not let me know that he was running late or acknowledge that he was late when they arrived. When he got there he rushed the job so he could leave as fast as possible.

Unfortunately, we had a poor experience with TipTop Blinds this time. We had a good experience with them several years ago for our other property so we went with them again for another home. Unfortunately, someone in their team made a mistake which left us with this gap shown on the photo. We could have been okay with that error if only we received a sincere apology. Instead of an apology, what we got was a front seat to the blaming show among their team members; they involved us in this circus of throwing each other under the bus. As a result, we experienced rudeness and arrogance from certain staff members. When we sit on this corner of our home, we remember the lies they spoke to cover themselves, and the rudeness of particular staff. We hope their other clients won’t experience what we did.

The quality of the product is fine we used them for 3 properties.
But the customer service - Oi vey - so so bad.
From not returning calls, to not following up, to just lack of communication - these guys are not running a smooth, polished operations.

Tip Top Blinds were professional from start to finish: from Ed who measured up the roller blinds, to Pascal who installed them, to Margaret who measured up, advised and ensured the sheers were correctly installed. The service was excellent and I would happily recommend Tip Top.

This is the second time I have had Tip Top supply and install blinds and sheers. They have again delivered on product, service and value. A big thank you to Sam and his team. I couldn’t be happier with the finish. I highly recommend this company.

We have just renovated our house. We got quotes from 3 different blind companies and found Tip Top to be the most reasonable. They sent out a sales rep (Edward) to advise on blind/curtain options, colours and pricing. He was truly amazing and helped us make decisions in what can be a daunting process. We were promised the blinds will be installed on the first day back to work in 2022, and they arrived on time as promised. The installers were courteous, professional and most important, left no mess! The service was absolutely awesome and we heard from head office numerous times with updates. I would highly recommend using Tip Top Blinds!
