Tina's Noodle Kitchen reviews
63Come here all the time whenever I come to Melbourne CBD. Noodles are so good. Love the glutinous rice cake
Great noodle soups.
A good place if you’re looking for noodle soups with a light taste.
Let your soup cool down slightly before taking a sip, or else you'll burn your tongue. ?
All soup options are good but I always go back for the pickled vegetable ones. The beef ones are popular but it can be quite dense in flavour. Portions are relatively big.
Best to get a seat far away from the entry door if you can. For the longest time already, the door can't close properly; so cold wind gushes through everytime someone walks through.
Fast service, hot food. I suspect I ordered poorly, but there was plenty of food and while it was not exactly what I wanted, it was my fault for getting a new dish.
Quality seems to be dropping. The mild soup use to be tasty.
Now it's a bit watery and lack of flavour, Noodle is a bit chewy. Soup way top way takes a long time to be able to eat.
Very crowded when we visited during peak lunchtime, that shows the popularity. Very tasty food,
This place is always packed and one of my go to venues on a cold, winter day. Delicious rice noodles served in a piping on hotpot. But not sure what happened to the flavours. It’s definitely not the same prior to covid. Still well run and very structured, but difficult to accommodate larger groups because it’s so busy. Seating upstairs and down but mostly downstairs outside of peak hours.
My first Taiwanese food, it was quite unusual. Soup broth has lots of galangal, tomato and fermented soy. Servings are enormous, order to share.
Everything charge you extra when food ain’t cheap already, weekend surcharge credit card surcharge take away surcharge, oh I guess that’s how it works now.
First time and last time visit thanks.
Everything was so good and delicious bout this place Best in Melb and definitely will come back
Had the beef tomato noodle and picked cabbage fish noodle. Both are beautifully delicious and the amount was way too much for 3 of us. I mean, you could finish a bowl by yourself and call it a day.
I had the tender beef with pickles dish Weird after taste they advertise in the picture fresh bokchoy steamed but it was only smal pieces mixed up and cut, the tender beef was just chunky and not good quality tasting, I did add some soy sauce and vinegar because it was lacking flavour, out of all the places in swanston please don’t go here ️ Go get thai or hot pot next door
Good good with stupidly massive portions, there’s no way i could finish a bowl by myself.but found a lump of paste in the soup, which tasted like tonkotsu base or pork fat? Not sure what it was
The food taste pretty average, not super delicious but not bad either. But for $16, the portion is huge. I didn't finish my bowl since it was big and they were pretty generous with their ingredients.
I'm not sure if it's allowed, but you can probably have 1 bowl for 2 people.
My go to place foe nice noodles.
The pork belly with preserved vege is always my favourite. Everytime we taste a new broth, it simple taste even better. Must try the pork chittering, seafood & pork bone broth
Soup isn't as rich and tasty as before. Something's changed. Even the meat was not marinated well. Service staff were very friendly and attentive. They used to be super busy and we used to queue to get a table. But we went during peak hour for dinner and it was first level only with 5 tables.
Gotta change their soup game before they get relegated.
Good late night supper place. Easy dumpling and BBQ skewer specialities. Strange they don't have Chinese tea though. Seating upstairs and down stairs
Used to one of my favorite noodle soup place in CBD but something has changed. The soup is not as tasty as before. Missing ingredient. Also they used different type of fish which still has skin in it. It's supposed to be fish fillet.
The noodle for some reason costs more than the one at box hill. Maybe it is because the noodles here are thicker but there's also less of it. Maybe it is because of the extra ingredients but they don't taste particularly good either. It is still an alright restaurant but not the best of its chain.
This restaurant on Swanston street is one popular and very busy Chinese noodle place.
This place offers wide varieties of Chinese style noodle bowls which are giant and flavour packed.
The place is nice and comfy, the staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
I've been there 3 times now, and I've had spicy beef noodles and spicy fish noodles so far.
The bowls are humongous and they are very generous with the ingredients.
Perfect for spicy noodle lovers. The soup makes and the ingredients definitely steal the show.
Highly recommend the place.
