The best pizza in the hills.
No need to go anywhere else. Best service and the best spot for our regular date nights. Recommend 100 x over!

I was so disappointed. This place used to be amazing. I’m not sure if they’ve changed owners since the flood but what a let down. Menu severely cut back to just pizzas. Drinks were good but pizza was dreadful. Dry and tasteless. Servers were polite and informative. Sadly, won’t be back.

The reopening of Tin Pan has seen some huge improvements. The staff are nicer, kitchen faster, the same pizza every single time comes out exactly perfect. We always order the vegan options and they're incredible! Great cheesy options dairy free. The Marg is simple and the best balance of toppings.
By far the best pizza in the Hills, second best pizza in the state.
Always friendly staff, the owner is really accomidating. Wish they delivered so we could stay in and eat! Will be so busy in summer.

Good vegan options. I just wish the staff knew this, no one seems to know what is what we have to tell them what they make every time. They're us a vegan menu online I'd recommend calling ahead. Would order again:)

Can’t rate their vegan pizzas highly enough! An awesome selection of 23 vegan pizzas on the menu, choices including mock meats, more than one type of vegan cheese, sour cream, lots of varied and creative topping combos. The ones we got had fresh ingredients in generous amounts and were overall very delicious!

Definitely worth a visit if you are heading to the Dandenongs for a day trip or if you live in the east, we will be sure to visit again.

Food was good especially the garlic pizza. We ordered a salad which was very refreshing. Besides these we also ordered Greek Lamb Pizza. The base was bit thick than we expected. But the topping was excellent. The app was bit slow and ordering was not easy. I would recommend this joint for a good pizza experience.

Came here for dinner with my sons this evening and the beautiful smell of the fresh dough was superb! We had the pizzas and they were so fresh and tasted so good, they were also very accomodating to adding any extra ingredients to our pizzas, great service and cocktails too. 5 out of 5.

Great to know that there's a wood fire pizza place on the hills. Tin Pan Alley Foodsmiths are in Upwey and know how to operate a wood fire oven. The pizza dough is of high quality and they have a large variety of pizzas on offer on their menu. Although it should be clearer on the menu if a particular pizza is tomato based or garlic based. I went for the Gourmet Delight which should have had eggplant, roasted capsicum, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and pepperoni. What I got was heavy on the pepperoni and light on the vegetables. Delicious just the same though. My partner chose the Prosciutto pizza but found the amount of garlic overwhelming. I thought it was also delicious. The service was a bit slow from the kitchen. The in house staff were friendly and eager to please. Definitely will be eating there again

Terrible take away pizza Aug 27th.
General apathy from the staff at the take away window and the chorizo pizza was fairly ordinary. We had two pieces each as were starving then tossed the rest in the bin.

We dined in, waited over an hour for our food and when it came out, my lasagna was cold, we weren’t told that there was going to be a wait and only one waiter apologized for anything. Overall the service was pretty bad and the wait time was also pretty bad.

My wife and I had our first Pizzas from here last night, absolutely delicious. A real eye opener, best pizza we have had since trying them for the first time in Melbourne in the 1960's Well done!

Revised review: service has not been good the last 6 months. Pizzas still amazing. But orders are often late, orders get mixed ip or they cant find my order when I pick up. When asking about how to set pickup time when ordering online, the young man gave me a non response, saying “I dont order online”

Don't judge me, i asked for extra pineapple too. The quality of these pizzas are so damn good and the pricing alongside it.fantastic. Damn, writing this review 5 days after I last went, I want to grab another pizza already. Mmmmmm.

Great pizza and parma - and good value for money too!
This is a great place to take hungry teenagers.

Been here a couple times now and can’t fault the food and service! It’s always packed so definitely recommend booking beforehand. It’s probably the best value wood fired pizza I’ve ever had, as well as being absolutely delicious (love their margarita) I will definitely keep coming back here and can totally understand why it’s always so busy!

We had two very tasty (and different) pizzas with fast friendly service. Nice atmosphere with quirky decor.
