Timezone Fountain Gate - Arcade games reviews
25Staff extremely friendly at this venue, a lot of machines out of order but it only just recently opened up so I’m sure soon we’ll have a fully functioning arcade but for now it’s good enough
Absolutely rubbish, we were new to the place and bought a 30min card with 200 tickets already on the card, staff members lied saying tickets would be added to the card after winning the game (we kept rechecking with her asking if it gets added and she said yes) yet when you go to the counter you only get the prizes for the 200 tickets you started with and all the tickets you won in the game actually don’t even get added to your play card. Honestly very disappointed with the dishonesty of the staff members, tunzafun was much better than this new Timezone! Games were fun but don’t recommend taking your kids at all.
Booked for a 10 year old bday party for 11 very excited kids and absolutely could not recommend it more! The manager (forgot his name sorry! We visited on 9th April) and both our party hosts Grace and Jenna were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and just superstars all day long! Made sure everything was looked after, that we had all our needs met and kept the kids busy and engaged and they all had an amazing time with absolutely no stress or work for the parents.
The venue while small is packed with games, is very clean and well maintained - lots of fun games and we were welcome to BYO food and drinks and they provided us with a decorated party table for food and cake which was also wonderful. A much better alternative to playcenters for slightly older kids and such a wonderful experience that I'm seriously considering booking another for my 41st bday!
Thanks again to the wonderful team at Timezone Fountain Gate for making Violets bday one of the best bdays ever!
I’m not typically a big ‘review person’, but I’m tossing and turning and just had to share my experience after today.
Starting with the venue, this arcade brings back the charm of the old days for me in a new and modern way (tickets and tokens are digital now!). It’s small size and incredible service from its staff (which I’ll delve into), just made me feel the joy I had as a kid again.
My daughter has autism and struggles immensely in busy indoor environments, but the cashier we had this morning was nothing short of phenomenal in assisting her. The young lad was completely under the pump with what I assume is the school holiday rush, but he took the time to talk us through the new card process and was so patient and kind to my daughter in a very respectful way, even offering his blue lanyard when he realised they only had yellow left. People often treat her as if she is a baby or speak in a condescending in similar situations, but this cashier made her the most comfortable I’ve seen in a shop before and you couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. We left with a bag of goodies from our ticket winnings and in the car ride home I asked Maddie (my daughter) what her favourite part of today was and she didn’t mention the prizes, she said “buying the card off the man”.
I really wish I’d taken more attention to his name just remember a clown on his badge which he made a joke about, but huge pat on the back to him, honestly restored abit of faith in humanity. Also a little hooroo to the woman on the door with blue hair, although we didn’t interact for long she was very bubbly and now Maddie wants to dye her hair… we will see ;)
Thanks Timezone, we will be back soon!
