Tia Con Vietnamese

Delicious viet dishes with some refreshing drinks menu. We ordered the vegan pho, cauliflower BAO and the Buddha meal. All of them were tasty.

Tia Con has been a favourite since we discovered them just before covid. 3-4yrs later we still love their food. Slight twist on traditional viet dishes and flavours and they do it really well. So many favourites.baos, DIY rolls, satay skewers, Barramundi Spring Rolls, XO noodles, curries, every dish so full of flavour. Linda and her team super friendly and they all do a great job
Always our go to for easy, scrumptious catering too.

Ordered a vermicelli salad, half of the bowl was missing. I don’t mind paying higher prices for vermicelli salads and banh mis etc when the quality and flavour is there, but this just isn’t it. Lacked flavour, over priced and small servings.

Worst takeaway experience. 80% of the food we ordered did not arrive. Not notified so called and were told they ran out. And then they challenged us when we asked for a refund! What did turn up was cold, tasteless and dry. Not our usual Vietnamese and won't touch them again.

Pricy and food is under standard.
- Barramundi spring rolls, The sauce is way too salty.
- Pho, the soup is too bland and not taste like normal pho
- Duck noodle. The noodle is OK but the duck is super dryyyyyyy and no taste.

We had great experience at this beautiful place.

My partner who is vegetarian/vegan had hello vegan curry and he scored it extremely well. He can’t stopped praising how tasty and delicious the dish was. I take his word.

I’m a carnivorous hence I had chicken pho. It’s ticked all my taste bud and made me full.

We can’t complain about the service though my partner is so conscious about we holding the staff hostages as it’s Sunday and closing time. The staff are friendly and carry beautiful smile. They assure my partner that don’t rush to finish eating.

I highly recommend this place if you are at Brunswick.

We ordered a chicken pho, barramundi vermichelli, another barramundi dish and the duck dish. The flavours are outstanding. Ample servings. It was a Sunday evening and we just walked in and found a table available. My son recommended it and this place is a gem. It seems like there are entertainment places nearby as well. Heard a band playing in establishment on the way to car.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food this ain’t it. Something more akin to cultural appropriation. Pretty average all around sorry to say

Was really looking forward to our meal here but the food was really dry and lacked flavour. The brisket bao buns had no juice or sauce with them and were genuinely difficult to swallow. I had the duck egg noodles, and while the noodles were tasty, the whole dish was dry and the meat lacked flavour. Very disappointing. We won't be coming back!

This was my first time ordering from Tia Con and I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. If you’re after authentic Vietnamese food, then you’d be better off trying somewhere else. I ordered the Beef Pho, the broth lacked depth and flavour and the beef was dry. I also ordered the vegan dumplings. The dumpling skin was thick and tough and the filling lacked flavour, it was pretty bland in my opinion. It totalled $47 and I’m quite upset and unsatisfied.

This was a good little spot for random beef pho. Service was quick and wasn’t too busy. It’s not the absolute best pho ever it did hit the spot but the Vietnamese coffee was the real hero of the day.

Taste is good. Ambient is nice. Service is friendly and fast. Food serving is a bit small considering the price point (which is slightly higher than usual). Drink selection is too limited. It does not have those Vietnamese drinks like the three colour drinks. Food selection is also limited only (no Vietnamese pan cake, no vietname rice roll etc). A bit disappointed.

I don't know if they respect more the costumers on person, but if you order from this place expect the bare minimum.
Ordered the chicken pho and it had just some few pieces of chicken and even less onion. The noodles were soggy and the soup bland.
If I were at the place I'd have return the dish, but since I ordered on Uber eats I had no more options.

Vietnamese restaurant. The dried vermicelli came with an unusual sauce, not a fan of the result. Staff was nice.

We look forward to Fridays, so we can have a banh mi for lunch from Tia Con! Shame that they're not open for lunch Mon-Thurs, because we'd have the banh mis from here everyday if we could - they're that good!
The food is inventive and playful, but retains the bold flavours typical of Vietnamese food. We've also had some of the dinner options, including the pho and the vermicelli salad, both of which were fantastic too.

I ordered 2 beef pho and was extremely disappointed on the serving size.
At $21.50 per dish, the beef and other condiments were really light on.
Rang Tio Vietnamese and spoke the to the manager (Maggie) about my dissatisfaction and she just said to contact Uber for a refund.
She just wasn’t interested in my complaint and I won’t be back.

The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. The satay chicken was to die for not to mention the waitstaff were also very sweet!

I had the Chicken phô. It’s quite different to what I am accustomed to. Unlike an aromatic clear broth… more like a sweeter dark broth. Not as generous a serve I am used to either. While it wasn’t to my personal taste, especially at $19, I wouldn’t down rate this place and will definitely give it another go as their other dishes look great.

Had a really good meal with my partner after work with some lovely cocktails. Staff were really nice fast and attentive, will 100 percent be back for spring roles and cocktails!

This is not authentic Vietnamese but i must say it is very tasty.
Very busy restaurant and go go go.
We were all satisfied with our meals and their home made chilli oil is absolutely delicious. Sweet potato fries at a Vietnamese restaurant? Yes there was.and they were bloody good! As was the side mayo! Not a fan of the fish springrolls.they were to fishy for me.but my pork banh mi was very good and pork was soft and cooked perfectly. Brisket Banh mi was tasty but brisket was a little dry.perhaps more sauce would of been better.
Pho isn't a true authentic flavour but my group said it was delicious and different.
Overall we were all very satisfied and it hit the spot!
