Thuan An spring rolls packed flavour.
The Beef pho with slicec beef and beef brisket was delicious.
Fried rice with crispy chicken, Broken rice with grilled chicken were good, generous with pickled vegetables.

I ordered takeaway chicken corn soup and paid $11 for this. I just came home and checked the menu it said 9.50?

I love Asian restaurants with clean toilets. Very pleasantly surprised here. Pho was good. Had a combination on crispy noodle which was a bit bland. Will still come again

We came here for the first time after seeing some good reviews online. But the three dishes we ordered were tasteless and weird. I don't think we will come back again.

In simple word, terrible. The food does not taste good at all. Asking for ice, charged $2. Other places don’t even charged. Also, won’t let you do takeout for leftover food (do not want food put in the thrash) because that is Australia law. I went and search and there is no such thing. Folks - Try to stay away. Would never come back!

PS. Food was paid for and customer should have the privilege to have food take home for leftover.

This restaurant will for ever be my home when it comes to any Asian food. It has the best food ever I could eat this every day of the week. There are so many options for different tastes and so many amazing drinks to choose from. My kids are very picky eaters but when ever we come here, they can eat everything! The portions are amazing and the food is nicely cooked. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The staff are always there to greet you. Very nice and friendly and most of all very approachable. (Shoutouts to Julie and Phuong, they always are there for my family and I and always greet us with a smile on their face and always makes my family laugh!) this restaurant is very kid friendly and serves the fastest food ever! Better and faster than MacDonalds! But at the same time it is freshly cooked with lovely chefs. If you haven’t tried it I definitely recommend! Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I love this place to death! I have recommended Thuan an to so many of my friends and family and they have all gone back! My all time on the go restaurant! It was my sons birthday and the staff kindly prepared a beautiful delicious cake with candles and put in a happy birthday song which my son was very excited about. Perfect for functions as well! Run don’t walk to thuan an before the food sells out!

I have come for take away food, had a terrible experience with the staff. I can say this is the worst restaurant and staff I have seen in Melbourne in fact all over Australia. Staff over there were very rude and reckless, they don't even bother customers. I hope the management will see this review and improve your services.

Ordered 2 Combination Laksas and some pork spring rolls for home delivery.
Food came quick but was cold, Laksas were bland and not good, spring rolls were ok.
Don’t order the Laksas!

I ordered the tomato rice with diced beef. One of the best I've ever had. The portion was generous. The service was quick. I ordered an iced green tea, it wasn't as sweet at most places but was nice. Overall this place was great and I would definitely be back in the future. Rice dish $15.50 Drink $6. I'll update the review with my next trip and new dish.

Since I wrote the review we had a few hit and misses. Stir fried noodle dishes being really bad as in almost inedible, getting food poisoning 3 times in a row (make it 4 as of this review as soon as we got home) and now today with a decent meal but dirty utensils from the container, sticky table, dirty glasses for hot tea which I used to clean the utensils. Attached are photos of today's meal and the one two years ago. I feel that if you eat here go for rice dishes and check what you eat the meal with. The staff didn't seem happy that I found 5 dirty spoons with food stuck on them and that I left them on the table near my empty plate. Still will come back. That should tell you how good their competition is lol.

Ps the crispy chicken (wasn't seasoned) fried rice (no flavour). The diced beef and tomato rice was still good though.

They use peanut butter in the pork chop for cơm sườn, makes this usually safe disk a death trap for people with peanut allergy. When we called to ask why peanut in this kind of food, they simply said ‘it’s your problem if you don’t tell us about your allergy’. Fair enough. Hope no one get killed by their weird way of using ingredients.

Great food. Great price. I will be back. Pho was superb. Had the 3 kinda of meats and it was wonderful. Staff were quick and polite. Good for families as well.

My favourite Vietnamese food in Melbourne. The chicken spare ribs with egg-fried rice are my go-to. The owner is very friendly and an absolute legend, I highly recommend this place.

Pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. Very welcoming staff (and the manager who spoke to us at the end) and was helpful to all the queries we had. The portion was huge, especially the large fried rice complimented with the fresh spicy chilli? Crispy chicken ribs did not disappoint as well, one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. The vietnamese iced coffee tasted so good and had a good ice to coffee ratio. Overall, I would definitely come back again.

The food and the customer service here has been always consistent. They always greet us with a smile and was very patient. No matter how busy it is, the food always come out really fast. Our favourites are Vietnamese Pasta with Cubed Beef and Soft Shell Crab Vietnamese coleslaw. We always feel welcomed here ️ will definitely keep coming back here.

Went to the shop ordered my food, waiting over at the bar, got back into the shop pick up the food, staff said no more pipe, okey, I can abalone instead $35, cool allgood, that what I got, no to mention all food was cold, I lost one of my favourite food place

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants that I’ve tried in Melbourne. Your order arrives as soon as you order it. Try the Crispy Fried Flounder, Vietnamese Fried Rice and the chicken with sweet and sour glazing. The staff are friendly and always smiling too!

I have dinner here many times, always satisfied. Big serving & delicious food, price is cheaper than other Vietnamese restaurant. Service is excellent!

Seriously good food. Got the pho (nice complex broth) and congee. Fantastic service as well- will be coming here more often
