A small local restaurant with exceptional customer service. Our waitress (Jessica) was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely visit again ️

I've been to The Winey Cow a handful of times now and they've never failed to provide amazing food and exceptional customer service! They are always accomodating and friendly, and the service is quick even when they're busy. Recommendation: try the Cranberry Crush mocktail:)

Hi Management,

I emailed first to try and avoid this but didn’t get a response… Last Saturday night, my girlfriend and I had dinner at your restaurant. We both ordered the ramen noodle soup and almost immediately our stomachs were turning and within 30 minutes after leaving your restaurant, we both had severe diarrhoea. We were just lucky, our place is only around the corner from the Main Street. As you could imagine, it was not a fun Saturday night.

I’m not sure what you’re putting in that soup but for both of us to have the same reaction, almost immediately after eating the soup is very concerning. As we both have had small businesses ourselves we understand the repercussions of bad reviews. I would recommend you taking some action by first talking to the chefs to see if all ingredients was fresh, taking that off the menu or making some adjustments so other guests don’t experience the same situation.

I would also like to know if there was MSG in the Ramen, and if so what quantities?

This wasn’t an email to get our money back or to give negativity. It was an email to let upper management know what is going on and that the situation should be remedied ASAP but given I didn’t get a response, I thought this might be a better platform.

Great cafe right in the heart of main Street serving up delicious high quality coffee and tasty brunch

The food wasamazing. Went there for breakfast and everything was tasty and the wait staff were lovely. Definitely be going back

Went for breaky here the waitress took our coffee orders and recieved them promptly but after 20 min waiting to have orders taken for breaky and waitresses going back and forward we weren't approached at all except for waitress picking up our empty cups l was about to give her our breaky options but she said nothing and quickly took off. Hubby and l decided to leave, when l went to pay for coffees l mentioned to the girl that we we're going to order after 20 min waiting but weren't given the opportunity she apologised but didn't rectify by offering us to have our orders taken. No probs won't go back.

Unfortunately this restaurant dosent live up to the hype, which is a shame. Everything on the menu sounds nice but when it's served they are small portions (with an above average price compared to other near by restaurants for the same dish) with eye sore displays and poor choices of ingredients which don't marry well or too potent or no taste at all. They have a long way to go to fix there menu and chef skills.

Came here recently during the evening. Really friendly service staff - accommodating, helpful, friendly and attentive. Our table ordered burgers and the chicken bao, but the burrito bowl looked the most appetising in my opinion. Drinks were fine. Nice atmosphere kinda place.

Downsides were that the burgers were extra well done when we asked for medium, and the chicken fillet in the bao was overcooked as well. Not gonna hold it against them and I'd probably come back if the opportunity arises.

Service was lacking but the food was innovative and delicious. It took quite a few goes to get the waitresses attention to get water, menus (even though we were seated by the staff) The food was really lovely and with a bit of training for the staff, like taking menus and water to the table and asking for drink orders on seating, it would make for a lovely experience.

Great breakfast, really enjoyed it, just a bit different to the same same you get everywhere else.

Stumbled across this place on a freezing morning trip out to Mornington. The food was AMAZING. Presented well and tasted fantastic. Staff were lovely and laid back. Wait time was minimal. ️ Looking forward to the next time

Disappointing breakfast. We were expecting alot better food and coffee than what we received.

Friendly staff, great coffee and fresh juices, but the food. Yum! The food! I want to travel to the Mornington Peninsula just to eat here again!

Great coffee and the food was amazing! Very busy cafe and was a tight fit with a pram but they worked hard to help us fit on a table. Device was great. Oh and did I mention how amazing the food was.

I don't want to rave too much as it will mena I can no longer get a seat.
The service is always friendly even on super busy days, they truly try and accommodate everyone. The food is excellent, tasty but not to exotic you don't know what you're ordering. The coffee is well made hot and tasty without wanting to burn your mouth.
I don't really drink but they seem to have an extensive wine and beer option.
If ur down the Peninsula it's worth a lunch or dinner.

I'm not vegetarian or vegan but the vegan burger is one of the best items on the menu. They are also able to make a fair number of their meals coeliac friendly

Wow have had 3 different burgers here over the past year and wow they don’t disappoint. Amazing taste, value, and great food. I think it lives up to the price. This fried chicken bao burger is inventive, tasted good, wasn’t greasy and cooked great. Good portion. Loved the chips as well! I’ve had the vegan burger and it taste amazing.
Keep up the amazing food and looking forward to next time. I love the decor and just a nice place in mornington. Has brunch and dinner options available all day.
