Great little cafe in the heart of Mornington.

We came in with a large group and the service was very friendly and efficient.

Good menu choices and variety, I went with the stack which included a range of houloumi, rosti, bacon etc. All was very good and coffees were also on point.

Highlight though was definitely the Bloody Mary's, there were a few sore heads from the night before and they definitely fixed them up.

Would recommend for a solid brunch and coffee pitstop on the peninsula.

I must say the best place in Mornington to get a Burger and fantastic Fries. Went here Recently with my Beautiful wife and we loved it.
The Hot Coffees are extremely nice and the Staff very helpful and pleasant and are always there if you need anything brought to your table. Outside in the lovely hot weather is a must to.
Thanks will come back to this Amazing place again soon.

The winey cow is very expensive it cost nearly $70 just for a chicken sandwich, bowl wedges and 2 coffees. It was extremely hard to get into as we had a wheelchair and the place is not very disability friendly. Very small and lots of uneven flooring. The blonde female management staff was raising her voice to the young girls on the floor in a very unprofessional manner. It was an annoyance while we were trying to eat. I would not go back again once was more than enough

Arrived right on 12.00 - and the place was buzzing!
Met with a warm smile and shown to our table. You cant fault the service with at least 4 wait staff on the cafe floor,
The food was great - Yummy Tasty and flavorsome - couldn't fault it!
Recommend the Vietnamese Calamari Salad & Chicken Tacos!

Have eaten here before and absolutely loved it.
On this occasion it was extremely busy and understaffed.
We watched staff continue to seat people at any empty table available, but refuse to provide service to the tables still sitting. We waited 25 mins to be given water for the table, and 35 minutes for a milkshake.
I witnessed the table next to us follow up their coffee order 5 times over 40 minutes before leaving without anything, making it very clear how upset they were at the lack of service, to only be given a ' oh, sorry' from staff.
Ontop of the unhappy customers, it appeared the staff were also unhappy as a floor manager spoke loudly and rudely to her team, telling them to 'get on their game'.
After 45 minutes, our order arrived and the food was not cooked as per the specific order requirements. Rostis tasted like they had been defrosted and thrown on a plate. When I advised staff that eggs weren't cooked through as ordered the response given was 'sorry'. I had to ask for the eggs to be discounted when I went and paid, there was no proactive customer service given to ensure I was happy with my meal.
Extremely disappointed this time with service and food quality.

Amazing food. Great service. I had the vegan brekkie bowl. So delicious and quite a large serve, so I couldn't finish it all.

A few years between visits and marks a handy turn around point on the bike ride. Good service and coffee. Others had food, which looked nice and by all accounts tasted good. We got there around 8.45am and it had filled up by the time we left.

This beautiful little place did not disappoint! Service was great. Food delicious! Many Gluten Free options available. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and delicious food, though i’d say it has quite big portions. Great building style and the bathrooms were especially clean and furnished. Def recommend for a pinterest worthy brunch

I had the Brisket Benny, unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. 1) The menu description doesn’t reflect all ingredients e.g. BBQ sauce, onions, potato crisps were not listed in the menu 2) way too much going on e.g. All sauces mixed / messy. However, I have seen other plates being served to other customers which looked nicer.

Best cafe for vegan at Mornington. Great coffee with several vegan options. We love the vegan burger.

Best breakfast place in Mornington hands down! All the dishes looked great, I got the granola which was perfect.

Their prices are so good for the quality of food they produce, always excited to go here, no cafe does it better on Main street in my opinion.

The Whiney Cow is a junk email machine. I’ve never been down to Mexico, I’m in NSW. I would not go to the democratic people’s republic of Victoria. Despite this, the Cow continues to send me text messages promoting their wares. I’ve rang them and unsubscribed, but still send me unsolicited text messages. Whiney Cow - please, leave me alone

Lovely food. Deligjtful wait staff. But very Slippery floor. A chef that in full view was drinking out of a wine bottle while cooking and didnt wear a mask while doing food prep. Interesting.

As a regular foodie that enjoys brunch I have eaten at countless cafe’s across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. But after having eaten here countless times for many many years, this place would have to be my absolute go to. Great portion sizes as well as quality, as well as customer service. Waiting a few minutes for a table is to be expected on busy weekends but it’s definitely worth it!

Perfect place for breakfast, great service and vibe. Chilled and easy going. The coffee and breakfast were very filling and definitely recommend for anyone wanting to start the day in a great way.
