Bought a good R watch from Chris recently and something unexpectedly went wrong. Informed Chris and he promptly asked me to return it, after testing, he swiftly offered his warranty by:
1) full refund, 2) send the watch back to authorised dealer to be fixed at his cost but will take time or, 3) exchange (with balance) for some other watch he has.
I ended getting another good watch from him and is very happy with it.
Can't understand why people order watches from OS and paid 10% GST and if something goes wrong have the problem of fixing it here or getting it sent back. Some of them may be untrustworthy.
Buy local, if you can find what you like.
