The Warburton Hotel Wesburn - Bar & Bistro (previously Sam Knott Hotel) reviews
68Great food, cold drinks, great hospitality from staff and Andrew great publican, welcoming and friendly.
Loved it, my Brother and I got there very late and they still cooked us some meals, great customer service, we will come back.
Great food and loved the pumpkin sinchzel because I’m vegetarian and the boys loved the parmigiana’s and it is family friendly
Apart from the interior, nothing has changed to much over the years, The beer still got a strange taste to it
We had lunch out on the deck. The winter menu was great, the lamb shanks and beef brisket were delectable. Can’t wait to go back for the summer menu.
Went here with the wife and 7 month old in her pram. Good sized space inside and pretty modern. I had the Caesar parma and it was really good. Fresh chicken and well cooked with good sides. Wife had porterhouse which was only ok, under seasoned. Problems were that it took around 45 minutes to get our meals and the bar didn't have a great choice of beers.
It was a bit of a wait to get the food, but in the end my family and I had delicious food. The workers were extremely nice. They all were smiling.
The only reason I have given 2 stars is the food was good. Unfortunately we waited for 1 hour 20 minutes for the food to arrive. We had to remind the staff we had ordered garlic bread which they only brought 2 out of the 3 plates that we ordered. One person on our table requires gluten free (which the menu had several options) but we were told after an hour from ordering that they were out of stock of gluten free items so my friend could only have a burger (without the bun) and mashed potato. (he was offered a free drink for the inconvenience). The staff gave us no apology for the delay and really didn't seem to care. We were not the only unhappy table - all other tables were just as unhappy and dissatisfied.
