The Warburton Hotel Wesburn - Bar & Bistro (previously Sam Knott Hotel)

Unfortunately we have had bad experiences coming here, before we even step foot in the place Manager comes up to tell us what they have run out of, like the simple things potatoes, steak etc, there is always an excuse. We find when we finally do get our food after an hour or more wait it is ok some dishes lack flavour. Even the bar runs out of spirts etc. We keep going back to support the local business but unfortunately we will be looking for somewhere else to go.

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon, staff friendly, cozy with fireplaces running. Food was generous portions. Nice place to stop off for some comfort food and local beers.

Absolutely 10/10 service we love Katherine, naree and Andrew sooooo much! So good would work 11/10

Had a great lunch on Easter Saturday with the family. Jesse was welcoming on arrival and his service throughout our lunch was first class. Great experience, highly recommended.

This old school pub has a great community feel. We came down for the weekend from Queensland and where other pubs couldn't fit us in, this one went above? And was able to give us a place to eat for the evening. OmG, the parmis are amazing we went back a second night too as the food was outstanding, aswell as the service? I can tell the owner is a passionate person running this establishment

Went there for the steak they had none. Asked for a local beer on tap they were all out. I said can I have a jacket potato they said they run out of potatoes. Had to settle for a parma and Carlton draught. Not a great experience.

Scotch Fillet is Sensational, Porterhouse is awesome too.
If you love a good steak, give it a crack.

Quite place and nice food. We went to the Blue Lotus Water Garden, and it is on our way back. Plenty of car parking, friendly people, we were enjoyed there.

Such a nice place around Warburton. Staff were fantastic and so helpful. We lost our gold ring (don’t know how) and couldn’t find it. However, staff were so friendly and helpful to search around. Food was huge but quality (taste) not as good as other good points. Chicken Parma was dry and pork rib was not really grilled.

This place is amazing. We were a big group (almost 20) and everyone was happy with the meal and the service. It was delicious, good portion, and with a reasonable price. The building is also very nice, clean and well taken care of. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

My son and I had dinner at this hotel, we both had porterhouse steak which was very nice, but we were both disappointed with the vegies, only 3 small baby carrots and 3 small pieces of broccoli, no potato, no pumpkin and no pea's or beans

I’ve been here a few times, the food has always been delicious, you can tell they take pride in the quality of food. The staff there are friendly as is the owner who is always there to greet us.it also has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Where to start. Wow what an amazing place. The staff could not be any nicer if they tried. Just lovely people with excellent customer service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere lovely. Will be going back for sure.

We went here with a group of 25 people for my sons 18th birthday for dinner. I had the $42 mixed grill, the egg was rubber, the steak was fatty and cold, the bacon was over cooked. It put me off my food so I took it back and complained the young lady was great but I was already put off the meal then later when I was spoken to by the older lady I was told if you don't like the food just don't come back.
So I recommend to find a better place to eat

Andrew is a bloody great publican and his staff are exceptionaly polite, helpful and friendly. Get down there and get ya chops round one of their many awesome chicken parmas n some icy cold tap beer.
If you don't have time to sit down in the bistro, the snakery provides a pretty big choice of the pubs menue as well as ice creams, and all your other sweat tooth desires.
Head down to the Warburton Hotel aka The West.

Been going there for a couple of years now, the service and meals are fantastic. And the owner Andrew as busy he always is always finds time for a chat. It's a great pub 5 stars

Way better than the horrible little establishment that I visited last night (rice kingdom of healsville) lunch was excellent.

Have been several times and each time the meals have been sensational, the service friendly and the beer cold. What else could you ask for

Amazing food! Enjoyed the flamethrower Parma with Mushroom sauce. Simply amazing! Would come back again for sure.
