The Village Wine Bar

Absolutely loved this place! The staff were super friendly and the service was very good. The food was really delicious with lovely and subtle flavours. Will definitely come back again.

Beef carpaccio and sardines to start with and the truffle risotto were so good.

Stunning food, interesting wine list, we always feel welcome, staff very professional & efficient, wonderful atmosphere.

EPIC! This place truly is a hidden gem of Melbourne. Venue has a great vibe and atmosphere, staff and not only knowledgeable and helpful but are friendly and great for a laugh too! I think we have found our new regular wine bar

The owner went to the toilet, didn’t wash hands and came out and started waiting tables again. Disgusting, wash your hands as you give hospitality a bad name, you should be ashamed of yourself

Food, service and atmosphere at The Village Wine Bar is incredible. I’ve been here over 4 times now and it’s been perfect every single time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a nice dinner with some incredible food and drinks. 5/5 stars!

Great location and wine list, let down by the deeply unpleasant manager or owner. Zero manners and should learn some basic skills from his staff.

This place was pumping the night we went, it’s noisy really loud, the staff are great run off their feet but organised, helpful, even though the place was full you didn’t have to wait long for drinks nor for your meal. The food was great we were a party of 4 all had different things off the menu couldn’t fault it. It’s not cheap, definitely not cheap but it’s cheerful. Will go again on a quieter night

Lovely staff member got us a great table tonight for coffee and dessert, but sadly both desserts were abysmal, though the tiramisu was exceptionally bad. The coffee was extremely weak and watery, so I left both my coffee and dessert to be cleared away. Pity, after such a lovely cheerful interaction with the waiter.

Best amaretto sour in Melbourne! Wow loved it and I'm now completely addicted. The good looks pretty delish too can't wait to try this place out post lockdown

While the food and wine was sensational, I will say the service was severely lacking. The waiter was quite rude to my partner and spoke down to her about both the wine and meal choices and made us very uncomfortable. Also the staff was quite pushy on all the meals and rather than make recommendations, was telling us what to have as a matter of fact. Unfortunately, we will not be heading here again.

This smart and cool restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Albert Park. The food is superb and the service is friendly and very professional. 10/10

Had lunch there today and loved it. Just like the superb customer service and menu at The Graham, the boys have delivered again. I had the gnocchi which melted in my mouth. The tiramisu was velvety light and delicious and the decor is elegant and inviting. Will be back.

Can't wait to go back once lockdown is over. The boys have done it again with terrific fit out, atmosphere and food!

What a great addition to Albert Park! We dropped in on spec on a Saturday night not expecting to get in as it was full. But the friendly host made us feel most welcome, finding a spot for us to have a wine while we waited for dining seats to free up (only ended up being 10 mins wait not the 25 we were advised!). Very friendly and professional staff all round; great selection of Italian wines; perfect pasta; and buzzing relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be back for more! Thankyou so much for squeezing us in! We loved it.

Just great sensational welcome and service. And while the fish was really delicious, the side of broccolini was absolutely to die for! A must try. Will be back a lot.
