Disappointing…
Came in and bistro area was empty for a Saturday mid day lunch.
Ordered our food (1 steak and 1 pasta). We waited around 40-45mins for our food even though the restaurant was dead. Was told there was only 1 chef working today. Would have been okay if the food was good. It wasn’t. We barely ate our food. Steak was tough and cold. Chips had a weird lemon salt on it? Salad was drowning in a thick dressing. Pasta was watery. Manager made an effort to chat to us which was nice since it was obvious we waited a long time.
Overall, it’s a no from me.

Went for Christmas Lunch with a big group on 20th Dec. All staff complained about food. Vegan meat burger patty was the worst. Perhaps they were short staff due to Xmas and the person in the Kitchen was not a Chef.

After being frequent diners in 2021 when open, we came back tonight for the first time in a long time and sadly were left disappointed by the kids area, the service and food. We arrived at 5pm, ordered not long after but had a longish wait for meals, perhaps the kitchen didn't open until 5.30pm but we weren't aware of this when ordering.we were there over an hour which defeated the point of an early booking. This place was once a great family location for us, now it's a little sad, not sure we'd be back again.

If you book AFL GF package call to confirm there are multiple people coming as notes are not read. With vegetarian also call. Have to say when we queried why the veg food was basically just the meat removed from our friends platters they made changes and we appreciated it. Thanks!

The hotel manager, Jess, and her team did a fantastic job and ensuring that our daughter has an amazing birthday party at the Victoria Room yesterday. They organised the function room the night before and ensured everything is ready before we arrived. The food also came at a perfect time and the drinks bar were updated frequently. We have no hesitations in choosing The Victoria Hotel as our party destination for our future events. Thank you to Jess and the team for making my daughter’s birthday a special one.

Had a great experience with organising a cocktail style birthday function with the team! Overall the food was amazing and all my guests complimented it alongside with the great service offered when organising the function. Definitely recommend and thank them for a great result!

Called twice to make sure they were showing the rugby tonight - which they confirmed a couple of days ago on the phone - turned up with my big group and they weren’t playing in. Gutted.

Had a function on 20/08 with 30 odd family and kids.

Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the function.

We had the room out back, behind the kids playroom. All kids had a ball being able to use the game machines, the small play room, and also randomly having a balloon maker there for the day.

The adults were also able to enjoy it, watching pay per view through out the day.

Food was excellent. We had entrees and then the mains, and people could not get over the amount of food that was provided. It was too much.

We visited the place a number of times before hand and met with a number of different managers of which were all too accommodating.

I dont normally write reviews, but in today's world, when a business does provide worthy customer service, accommodates certain requests, food is good, bartender is super nice, you have to let everyone know.

Aside from the function, the pub itself has an excellent atmosphere.

Great kids play area, Saturday lunch wasn't too busy. So great for catching up with friends with kids. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out. But it was good.

Great venue, great service, plenty of parking. We used a function room and facilitated what we needed and with its own bar.

Went for a few beers and dinner with a few including kids. $15.5 kids menu 2 slices of pizza. Expensive! $8 beers good though during happy hour. Though that jumps to $15 or so a pint. Ordered a mains meal and they forget it. Refunded me but was hungry. Overall very disappointing!

Tidy looking pub, food was to be expected and service was overall friendly. Decent value for money. Would drink and eat here again.

Booked for dinner on New Years eve. Venue was great and nicely presented. Food was fine. Nothing to rave about though. I wouldn't be going back anytime soon.

Great place to enjoy a family dinner as there is plenty to keep the children entertained. Books and toys for little kids and some electronic games for big kids.

Good atmosphere good food family friendly everyone can enjoy had a parma couldn't complain.

We come here for the steak nights - and let me tell you - they’ve never disappointed!

The most delicious and well cooked porterhouse- perfectly medium rare when requested.

Even the salad dressing was SO delicious!

And the chips are hand cut and perfectly fried.

You just have to come down on Wednesday nights and find out for yourself!

Great place for families. Amazing face painter on Sundays. Kids love the mix of costumes and toys to offer different age groups. Parents can eat in relaxed environment with kids playing.

Terrific staff, really nice renovation, good, reasonably priced food too. Give this pub a try!

Amazing new venue with an epic kids room. Fish and chips were crispy and fresh. Friendly staff.
