Staff great delightful and welcoming premises are clean food was first class beer was cold nice place to have lunch

Amazing service staff were so attentive. Food was great very generous portions and very quick to come out.

Very overcooked steak. Soggy chips, pathetic salad, all for around $30!
Desert called royal mess was all cream and 2 pieces of rhubarb.
Disgraceful attitude of management.

Where do you get a decent meal in Bacchus Marsh?

The Royal used to be ok, but now it is disgraceful. I am furious something even mediocre cant be served.

Enjoyed some shared platters. Cutlets with rocket and parmesan and relish sooo yummy. Tender scallops with black risotto were delightful. The Hummus and pita bread were the best I have ever had

Fish like rubber salad was hand full of leaves no dressing no tomato no onion. And to top it off bundy and coke flat with one ice cube

Wouldn’t bring the kids here but the meals are great potion sizes for the price. Also, the should promote the fry cook immediately!

Not the kind of place I’d take grandma or the kids - but pack the pepper spray and your thick skin and go enjoy a chicken burger in the beer garden. Fries are amazing!

After waiting for more than 30 minutes for our meals (2 of us), the chips were just warm and not fully cooked. My partner ordered the fish and chips (i took a pic but unable to upload here.) There was so little fish on the plate he may have well paid for

Worst meal, simly gave 2 stars for the staff
And the fact we could sit outside with my partner’s dog (who ate the chips).

As an employee without being biased, I feel it's an exceptional venue. Although, expect a wait for a Taxi

Visited as part of a Mustang drive day. The Royal generously sponsored and offered discounted coffee. Unfortunately couldn't keep up with the demand in the short window of time we had. Saying that coffee was good.

Seriously, The oyster kilpatrick were the ones you buy in the super market for a $1 a can, they just put them in shells top them with bacon and grill the hell out of them to the point there is no flavour in the oysters. Should be called bacon Kilpatrick. Anyway I think they killed Patrick with the price cause at $20 for half a dozen I feel sick.

Ordered a steak sandwich and a piece of the steak was off and when I pointed out, the cook got rid of it and said I was wrong, I asked her to bring back the steak for manger to smell she wouldn't and was very rude. Anyway manager told her to go back to kitchen.
She is a terrible cook and a liar so unless they change chef (if that's what she is) I wouldn't risk taking my kids there.
I was offered a $20 voucher but said no thanks as I value my health.
Only reason I left one star was that he waiter was lovely.
