The Royal Hotel

Steak was well cooked, chips could have been hotter. Not bad overall and would eat here again. Staff were pretty good, attentive but not hovering. Was fairly good value for money.

Great Pub, great location and parking just over the road - couldn't be better except for food - and this definitely did not disappoint. A table of 10 was looked after very well and the quality and taste was enjoyed by all. Would say that a must to try out in the town.

Heard the parmas were good quality here, even reviews said they were good.they were poor standard. We out doing Parma tasting, drove from Altona to Bacchus.
The Parma was soggy on bottom half, crumbed both sides but not too crisp and crunchy, took about 5-7 min to prepare. $70 for two of us inc drinks.
OVERATED, my mum cooks a better Parma!

I had my 50th birthday party there on Sat 2 Sept and they were fantastic, food and service was absolutely spot on, and big mention to "Ben" our barman, an absolute gentleman who went above and beyond. Thank you for a fabulous night, recommend them highly for any function

My 5 year old daughter got food poisoning after having the kids fish n chips on the 2/9/23

We really enjoyed our time at the country pub today, and the meals were of fantastic variety. Overall a great find.

Really loved this place. Four of us were there for lunch on a Friday. 2 of us had seniors meals and 2 of us had more expensive food and all the meals were beautiful food with great presentation. Recommended+

Service was a bit slow as they seemed under staffed but great atmosphere and fantastic food. Empty plates all round.

Function room is perfect place for a celebration. Food and coffee from the kitchen is top notch at a reasonable price.

Top 5 Parma in Melbourne - mushroom gravy was one of the best. Staff are nice and welcoming, put it on the list is coming to Baccas marsh

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch when we got home after a weekend away.
Not only were we able to take our pups into the beer garden but I was pleasantly surprised to look at the menu to see so much variety for gluten free options everythung from a parma to spicy chicken wings!
Incredible variety.
Normally I go somewhere and have 2 or 3 options, none of which really appeals to me at the time, but today I got to go to lunch with family and friends and not be the odd one out! My meal looked just like everyone else's and if I didn't know it was GF there would be no way to tell.
The staff are INCREDIBLE!
This will now be our go to, to get a great feed, great atmosphere and to bring our furbaby!

Ordered burger and received a patty that was pre-prepared and tasted like preservatives and fillers. Changed to chicken wings and not much better
My husband's Porterhouse was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I was very disappointed

Had dinner at the Royal Hotel on a Sunday night a week or so ago with some friends and the family. So we had a few kids amongst us. Casper was fantastic and ensured we were well looked after. My youngest wanted Fanta and they don’t serve that however that didn’t stop him from going next door and buying her a bottle for the night. Top service and even better food. Kids meals were also great.
Definitely going back with the family and our friends for some more amazing service.

Always wonderful meals, great staff and a very enjoyable place to go for a nice relaxing lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!

Fantastic venue with a friendly and helpful team.
Meals are always punctual and delicious.
Plenty to choose from and have plenty of specials that differ depending on the day.
Definitely my go to pub in Bacchus Marsh.

Thank you to all of the staff at The Royal Hotel for the wonderful service during my 30th Birthday Party last week. The finger foods were delicious and beautifully presented by your friendly staff. Thank you for taking care of everything so all I had to worry about was enjoying the celebration. Everybody had a lovely time & having the warm fireplace on a winter's night was a nice touch to the space. The staff at The Royal Hotel are a dream to work with. They also have a lovely wine list and can cater for any event. I highly recommend this place for a meal or booking for your next function. <3
