Saw this restaurant on TripAdvisor and thought why not. The name really had me intrigued.
The atmosphere is totally like a country Irish pub. The food. Superb. Definately try the Shepard's Pie or the Quiet Man Sizzler. Yum

Come here every Monday night for Irish set dancing classes. Highly recommend. Nice venue, good toilets and staff are always keeping us topped up with water.

Curry chips and soda bread are delicious. I'm vegetarian so can't eat much on the menu, usually just a soup. Would be nice to see some of the trad Irish foods with a vegetarian option.

Fantastic atmosphere, Dermot is a gem and recommended us the Steak and Guinness pie, great call!

Sticky floors and sticky tables was the first detail of what to expect here. The pub itself is very nice but the upkeep seems to not be a concern. After ordering our first drink notice human nails on the table we were at. Finally the toilets were disgusting and needed a cleaning. Pub could be great if some effort was put into it.

Oh my GOD! The steaks here are the bomb! Other Irish fare is also great. Cannot recommend this lovely pub highly enough!

Came here for lunch and a nice pint of Guinness on tap. Shepard’s pie was rich and lovely and can’t go wrong with the Parma with a curry sauce. It was a lil sweet to my liking. Well portioned and priced.
We loved the ambience of the pub, it’s a sort of place we’d come during winter as it’s very cosy and quirky. Service is good, hopefully they’d be able to add in a baby change table
Overall 7/10.

This pub teleports you to the past! It's beautiful! Perhaps has not been renovated for over 50 years! I love going here just for the nostalgia. The pricing could be better, especially on the weekdays. You can just go to the tavern across the road and it's half price for a pint! Will keep going back for a pint of Carlsberg till it's still running. Cheers!

Authentic Irish pub. Was pleasantly surprised there were gluten free options as there was no mention on their website or menu,

I have to say coming down to Melbourne to visit a friend we have been here a couple times, I feel that this bar was as comfortable as my local. Nice atmosphere, was a little bit cold tho. I have to absolutely shoutout the redhead English girl working there though, some of the best customer service skills I’ve ever seen! She was funny, polite, poured Guinness exactly how I liked it (some of the older blokes working there should learn off her) Absolutely will be coming back - foods pretty good as well - proper chips as well. Will be back!

Alright selection of beers, only had drinks so can't comment on the food but they didn't serve any food as they said they were understaffed, nice pub though and reckon it was just the day

The real deal, like being in Ireland. Awesome food, great drinks selection and friendly staff. In pictures, sizzler beef, chicken parma, Jameson chicken, braised cheek, All delicious, my favourite is the sizzler. Sunday roast is quite the feast. Highly recommended, make sure to get there hungry and thirsty. Slainté!

Good pub meal. Ended up here on a Monday night when not much else was open. Had the pie and parma which were both massive. Best chips I've had in a long time too

Merric is an absolute champion behind the bar. Man knows what a proper Guinness pour means, and it’s an absolute pleasure. Beautiful venue and an amazing interaction. Bartenders don’t often hit the ground running in building relationships with non regular patrons, but merric made us feel like family

I have been to this pub 3 or 4 times. Tonight I waited over an hour for a meal that never came. I asked for a refund and the manager argued that she had given me my food. She was very rude and reluctantly shoved cash in my hand. I will never go back to this pub to be treated with disrespect only to leave hungry. Avoid at all cost so many other local pubs where you can eat and receive decent customer service.

A local that I really wanted to like but for me it's so so, but for others it may be great. It's very cold with a tiled floor, I like to get cosy, drink a couple pints and read/chill but this place just brings drinking barn vibes. In saying that the dining room is carpeted and I haven't eaten here. Seems to be a lot of Irish in here, so I'm guessing it serves as a local establishment to catch up with pals, and the service is great. Just wish they'd put some carpet and cosier seating but I'm sure they do well enough as is.

Lovely old pub - wooden panels, tables in booths - feels very much like an real pub rather than a gimmick.

Needs to be renovated or demolished.filthy floors stuck together with electrical tape.dirty dark and old.
Food is disgusting … steak was raw and to be honest wasn’t interested in getting it recooked.a few slices of carrots and 2 bits of broccoli and small bowl of mashed potatoes.abysmal!

Drinks outrageously expensive. Staff were lovely even though seriously undermanned

Had a catch up with family for Sunday lunch, which was really good, 8 of us were all very happy with the meals. We moved down to the back after the meal, and listened to the band who were polished and professional, really enjoyed the day, and will be back for more soon! No need to say but the Guinness was beautiful
