First time visitor and had a great night. Pizza was good, venue is great and staff friendly. I dropped one star off for the beer! I tried quite a few and really didn’t find one that I liked, to many IPA and funky beers. I know it’s a tap house and that’s what you get. Looking for more of a drinkable beer like “latitude” from McAllister’s brewery in cairns. Get that beer in and I will be a regular

Welcoming environment, friendly and helpful staff and amazing atmosphere. A very enjoyable experience and extremely well regarded by our club members.

Dropped in for a beer and ended up staying for 3 hours last Sat.
Really good beers.
Great pizza and chips.
Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

Great first visit to the Taphouse. All of the staff were friendly and were happy to chat. Even got to chat with Dan Dainton himself! The limited release beers on tap at the moment are absolutely worth the trip - Bloodzilla, Choc Berry Bomb and Red Dragon especially. Grabbed a few other beers to try on the way out too. Won't be long 'til I'm back!

Beer is amazing. But the food was worse then average. One of the worst Parma's I ever had. It was not a schnitzel but dry thick and chewy.

That was delicious. A big table full of different food and the chefs did an incredible job. I had the Cobb salad and would highly recommend. Very fresh and best salad I’ve had in ages.

Pretty disappointing. First thing you see when you walk in is piles of boxes and junk behind the counter. We were then seated at a sticky table. No one came to take orders despite being told table service was available so we ordered via QR code. Waited 45 minutes for one meal and then another 10 mins for the next 2. The last one came an hour after ordering. Meals were ok, nothing special. Limited menu. Paid $12 per glass of bubbles but old glasses weren't taken away. Premium prices deserve premium service. Doubt I'd go back.

So exciting to know that there’s a venue so close to home with great food and beers! Will be coming back soon!

Unfortunately it’s not the public brewery any more. I’ve been waiting 15mins at the bar to get served whilst the bar staff actively serve other people first looking for a “chance to score”. Staff are just rude unless your a good looking human and fit their mould… place isn’t the same.unless you’re a good looking, hipster forget it.

Dainton beers are among the best craft beers in Australia in my opinion and the Carrum venue is amazing with amazing food. I even had my 40th there and can't fault it.
Tonight my partner and I went to the Croydon venue and again the beers are great as expected.the food however is among the worst I've eaten, we were told the menu was missing some items which was fine but the pizzas we ordered were like overcooked dry biscuits with bland and tasteless toppings, almost inedible.how can this be so far from the quality of the amazing Carrum venue? Is there no quality control? I'll stick to the Carrum venue from now on, lesson learned!
Do yourself a favor and just drive to the OG venue, you won't be dissapointed

Amazing what Dainton have done with the place. Venue looks schmick, ambience was great, staff were friendly and the smash burger was super. All reasonable pricing as too! Definitely coming back.

And of course, the beers were stellar. Love the Overdrive WCIPA

Great atmosphere, lovely staff and the menu included lots of great options for our mostly vego fam. Unfortunately quite a few things weren’t available tonight, including a couple of the things we had gone there for (and all kids meals except for pizza). Things happen, we’ll definitely give it another go at some stage. But this time around was a disappointing experience unfortunately.

Best thing to happen to the public brewery. I loved the old place RIP. Now new and improved. A must visit for any beer lover

Pros: great beer selection and a good atmosphere in the venue.

Cons: food is very expensive for what you get, e.g. $18 for a pizza that is smaller than a dinner plate. There are many claims online by the brewery of happy hour beers which are never honoured. This is not helped by a number of the staff appearing to be new and undertrained.

Went to Wednesday night trivia for $7 pints. The trivia was really good however the advertisement of $7 pints on your website was not adhered too. The food is also very overpriced.

Friendly and helpful staff, good selection of craft beer and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere despite wanting a quiet drink on trivia night. I imagine I'll make this one a regular spot for tasty treats.

Went for trivia and food
Trivia on a Wednesday was really fun with a group of friends. A great variety of beers to choose from. Ordered a safe food choice in a Parma. You know a Parma is bad when the Parma is smaller than the salad they serve with it… Would not order a Parma but the pizzas looked good on other tables.
