The Pond Cafe

Customer service was excellent and food was delicious. They were very busy but that didn’t mean their service lacked. Very attentive and friendly. Pictured are our beef brisket sandwiches (yes we both got the same meal because it sounded so good and they were as good as we thought!) and our greyhound felt the same way also coffee was great too ️

The bay views are worth a visit alone, add the great service, coffee and breakfast burgers and this place wins best breakfast spot in town. Its always busy though so you may need to wait a little for a table.

Probably the best place we’ve been for breakfast in a long time. Extremely friendly staff, amazing coffee and food. Definitely recommend:)

Here for brunch. Great items for breaky and lunch with variety available.
Sitting outside gives you a view bay.

Coffee was great which was a great start. Chocolate Berry crumpets were amazing addition.
Poached eggs with tomato chutney and Avo were a slight let down.
Noshi bowl with seaweed and salmon was mouth watering to say the least and a great recommendation.

Amazing service. We shared the pond breakfast and the chocolate crumpets. Both standout dishes. Definitely worth trying out of you are in Torquay

Fast friendly service. Would also have to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.then a nice stroll along the beach to walk it off! (Photo “The Full Pond”)

Average. The waitress with the mediterranean background or south american background brown hair tan skinned very unfriendly, attitude no customer service unless you are a white female. Rude attitude girl (not worth being called a lady)

Great coffee. Small menu but everything on there is delicious and well presented. Has a very Melbourne café feel with a great view.

Staff are exceptional. The food is fabulous. Portion sizes are huge. I'd happily pay the same money for half the amount! Coffee is divine.

The lamb is incredible. Smashed avo is pretty good. Quick and friendly service. Nice view of the beach.

Great coffee. Limited menu. However, food presentation looks nice. Didn’t order any food as the menu did not have enough variety for me. Service need improvement. Lots of wait staff but they do not know how to look after tables efficiently. Nice decor and lovely view.

Wonderful cafe and safety conscious around COVID. Superb coffee and I highly recommend the brisket sandwich which was huge and so flavoursome. Combine that with gorgeous views of the water and you're on to a winner. Love to support local business when it's this good.
