The Pole Room Mitcham

I’ve been attending pole classes at The Pole Room for just over a year and was hooked since my first class! Within a matter of weeks I had signed up to 5 classes a week and haven’t looked back since. Every teacher is so understanding and easy to get along with, as well as being so helpful to find things that work for every person’s body. Coming to TPR is the highlight of my day and my second home. I’ve met some of the best people here (both staff and students) and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

Dancing with KP is special. Couldn't ask for more from a teacher who makes every student feel safe and special. Hands down one of the best.

A really great and encouraging environment. I started doing Lyra at the end of March 2022, my instructors Courtney and Penny were amazing and so helpful. Decided to give Pole a try the start of this year and have found I've gained so much more strength and confidence doing both in parallel. If you can't do a trick instructors teach you progressions to work your way into doing the trick and help you see where you've made progress over the terms!

This is such a fun work out. Gillian is a superb teacher for beginner classes and Jess does an amazingly hard/fun pole conditioning class. Definitely recommend both.

I was really nervous starting pole by myself but i know going with the pole room was the right choice reception has been so understanding and sweet they gave me plenty of options to choose from in terms of courses i started with beginner 1 my instructor was jade who is the sweetest instructor there was no pressure at all and made the environment feel extremely safe, they have done a really good job at creating such a beautiful community there and i’m so excited to start beginner 2 it has been the best experience and i definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of doing pole here

All the instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable. Love they they have silks & lyra as well as pole! The poles are all brass too which is a huge win! The only studio that I could find in Melbourne with all brass poles.

Have loved every second since joining The Pole Room. Such a safe and welcoming space which has helped me to grow comfortable in my skin and feel at home. Cannot wait to continue my pole journey here!

The most supportive and encouraging environment with the most amazing teachers. I’m so glad my partner signed us both up for this studio back in Feb. It’s been the best decision for us both! It’s crazy to look back at old videos and see how far we’ve come. So strong. So proud.

Absolutely loved the beginners pole class! First time trying pole and I’m already obsessed! 100% would recommend the pole room if you’re wanting to start pole dancing! They have so many different types of classes and everyone is so supportive and kind! I had jade for my first class and she’s an absolute angel!

Very friendly and supportive environment. Instructors break skills down so that tricks that seem difficult at first are really achievable. Would recommend to anyone. You'll feel amazing!

I could not recommend the pole room enough! It is the most encouraging and supportive environment. Even though I have only been a part of the pole room family for a couple of months that is exactly what it is, a family. I have met some of the most amazing people and can’t imagine a week without training and being surrounded with so much love, encouragement and support

Great fun and a good change from the usual exercise classes. The staff are very friendly and supportive as well. A great range of classes for everybody with different skill levels with classes at three different locations.highly recommend for everybody
