The Phoenix Hotel

Made a booking on the phone for 2, was accepted. Arrived at 6pm Nye
e only to find restaurant closed, was told staff made mistake did not know venue was closed new year's Eve. The female so called manager was rude and non apologetic, I will never ever go back again. Totally incompetent no wonder the venue is empty.

Absolutely incredible staff, it’s a Young crew but they worked really hard especially the boy with the buzzed hair. The chefs cooked a amazing loaded

Staff were very attentive although place was packed due to the UFC being on in sports bar, my kids spent plenty of their time on the playground (was quite big for a pub), good place to bring the family. Also food was incredible and had plenty of options for both adults and kids!

If i could give 0 stars i would. Overpriced and over rated! Lack of quality service, no staff interaction with customers, a very bland atmosphere in gaming. The toilets are unkept and never maintained by staff during the day.

Dined in the bistro on Monday night, the pulled pork burger was sublime, and service from Jacoby and Jordan was fantastic, great attention to detail and took my allergies very seriously, thanks guys

Been here a few times now and can only say nice things about the place.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
The is a good range of beer on tap and
They have a great sports bar and lots of screens so you can watch everything.

The staff are attentive and friendly. A shout out to Nathalie. Thanks for making us feel at home.

Staff were lovely but the chef needs to learn how to cook chicken properly!
I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken Parmie and it wasn’t cooked well. Chicken was still very pink.
Spent the evening and next day on the toilet.
Won’t be back!

I had butter chicken which I thought was quite nice but a couple of people on the table were not overly happy with their meals. The saffron burnt lime mayo managed to taste like nothing strangely enough. The cheesy garlic bread was fantastic, as were the sweet potato chips with sweet chili mayo. Everyone who had the Parma seemed to be happy with their meals. Was not overly impressed with one of the wait staff but most of them were great. One young lady in particular with glasses - wonderful manner and sad I didn't get her name to give her a shout out. That butter chicken is probably what would bring me back. Just be aware there is a big play area for the kids backing on to the dining area so if you're wearing a hearing aid or can't do food with screaming kids.you might like to ask to be booked in away from that area.

Well this was the worst experience for A meal, first we had to ask 2 times for the kids ice cream and end up walking out, if you’re gonna charge an extra $10 per Per order on a public holiday make sure you got staff, to serve you, Would not recommend anyone to go to this place again,

Was there having lunch today as we are small eater we only order few entrees and guess what! They are awesome and fill us up, never thought will be that good, the service was great, friendly staff, clean environment, nice and quiet, That’s all you need when you want to have great time with family, Thank you definitely will be back again …. And again

Modern Pub Sports Bar Pokies n ordinary food. Our party 8 adults 4 kids had very plain pub food n the Specia of l barramundi! Didn't know they cud be so small served with chips no salad. Disappointing as ours was a family gathering from all over Victoria n will be looking elsewhere next time.

Ordered a scotch fillet steak, it was dry and over cooked, definitely not worth the $45. The chips were nice but the salad was gritty and not very nice, needed to be washed properly and needed more than just rocket and a scattering of carrot slivers. Very disappointing.

Was disappointed that there was only 1 full bottle of red wine to buy the waitress told me you run out only had half bottles so couldn't buy

This place has gone downhill dramatically. No table service. Almost no tables. It wasn’t at all busy and we weren't eating late, but the steak special still wasn’t available. What steaks we did order were all overcooked. There's also no longer any music or live band. The whole vibe now resembles a school dining hall, but with fine dining prices. A place that we used to frequent on a regular basis pre covid, is now, sadly, a place to avoid ️

Pokies has been done up so no longer coins and all tickets along with newer machines. Beer selection on draft has decreased, staff were friendly until I got told off for taking a photo of my win, seriously! Spoilt the visit.

Great place to eat, good food, some of the staff are questionable, I had paid for my meal and then asked for a drink that was in the fridge just behind her, I was told to go to the bar and order the drink because it would be quicker, so I walked just around the dividing wall there was no one there, I waited over two minutes, doesn't seem long but she wasn't serving anyone.

This used to be a place to get reliably good food and service. It seems like that is no longer the case. The menu has been cut back, the options are more basic, the quality of the food has taken a serious dive. Chips not hot and fresh, cheap oily cheese on the dry chicken parma, gravy tastes like the powdered stuff it used to be rich and delicious. You now pay and order at the bar instead of table service. Tables, chairs, floors dirty despite not being that busy. Very sad the old Phoenix is gone. Steaks now just served with salad and chips, no option on the menu to have mash and vegetables instead, and yet charging $41 for a porterhouse.

First time dining here - the pub is empty and cold, and there seem to be about 5 staff with a range of competence from ‘first shift’ to ‘been working here a month’. The food ranges from $41 steaks that have been over cooked or air fried to within an inch of their lives before being thrown on a grill, all the way through to serviceable burgers. Atmosphere is dreadful, tables are trestles from Bunnings. I thought it couldn’t get any worse than the Brook in Point Cook but apparently it can. PLEASE can someone open a half decent pub that serves a half decent meal in the 3030 postcode? !? !

Nice place to dine and friendly staff very helpful with menu changes for dietary needs.
Updated review: staff had no knowledge of wines available and there is no wine list in the dining room. Kids meals were ok. Schnitzels are now deep fried it seems, edges barely able to cut through, I guess I expected better quality for the price. Kids play area is ok. We ate here about a month ago and it was much nicer than tonight. Everything was over fried.

Bring back table service. No one wants to line up constantly. The meals are lovely but it's not the same great pub as it used to be. Listen to your customers, we will support you!
