The Palms reviews
51Saw Adam Thomas Bohemian Rhapsody and great night out but spoilt by seating in Booth A… fortunately one couple moved otherwise would have been very squashed and totally no social distancing.
Great venue. Every seat has a fantastic view of the stage. They even have table service. Would absolutely attend a show here again.
Nice seating/view of the stage and friendly staff, but waited over an hour for drinks to arrive, and waited the whole show for our hot food to not arrive.
What an AMAZING experience! The show was great and the staff were soooo lovely. We had the best time. Well worth the $$$
Rocking venue inside Crown, been there for many different shows and love the ambience each time
Worst venue I have ever been too. I had to leave early because of the pain in my back. The seats are so close together I could not even lean back in my seat. Don't know how this is legal from an OHS perspective and I don't want to think about the COVID risk.
Seat was really uncomfortable, show reminded me of a cruise ship but after months of lockdown was worth it
Best venue for couples to watch a show/concert. We love the balcony tables for 2. Always great shows, comfortable seating, great service, great bar. Love it
My love for concerts has led me to come here for many a time. The acoustics at The Palm are good. The lighting and decor of the whole casino is astounding and magnificent but I ALWAYS get lost and have to rely on the security officers for directions.
I have eaten a Malaysian meal here - yikes.one of the worst Malaysian meals I have ever had, oh so bland and yikey!
Great venue - holds 800 people. We find that a booth is more comfortable than the front seating.
Wow, what can I say. 1st time there and the place is overwhelming. Just fantastic and would absolutely go again. Staff professional, set up like movies, performance outstanding. Go, go and go.
This is such a small room I wonder that it does credit to amplified acts. If you do go get a booth, sitting on a standard chair for 'stalls ' is unremarkable. No lifts worked and the only way up was the escalator that had stopped working. Fine for able bodied but it took something out of the aged there. I hope this setup is temporary.
Was lucky enough to attend the Abbey road 50th anniversary concert at the Palms at Crown, with front row seats, a truly spectacular performance by an amazingly talented group of musicians. The acoustics were excellent, venue staff helpful, a great night out.
I visited The palms to see Human Nature who were great. Unfortunately our seats were very ordinary. We were seated on one side of a booth actually not facing the stage and had to crane our necks on an odd angle to see. Someone was also sitting in the booth in front so i had to look around her too. Seats were also put in front of booths also restricting the view. I believe every available space was used to get more people in to the detriment of a great show.
Great venue for shows but the bar to get drinks is just to slow and busy and went without a drink due to it being so busy.
A great venue for concert. The colourful of the stage is so amazing. We watched The Legend in concert direct from Las Vegas. We enjoyed, Elton John, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond, Village People, Johnny Cash, Lady Gaga and Evis Presley. They sing well. Love it very much!
Great venue. Watched The Ledgens in Concert here. Great seats. We had 4 people ans got 2 seperate little seats with a table each. Which were in front of a booth. So we were looking over a balcony so had no one in front of us
It was great, we saw the Legends concert, it was so good, especially Elvis, Johnny Cash, and the Village people. We enjoyed it very much xxx
The Palms at Crown always seems to have a good variety of excellent acts.
As one would expect, the prices of food and drinks are a bit higher than average but that appears to be true for the whole Crown complex.
My only criticism was that, where we were seated on the floor near the stage, the seats were quite squashed together - which made me feel uncomfortably cramped.
Otherwise, my companions and I all enjoyed our night.
Went to see the Legends Concert on its first night Great show and so much fun.
Stage was a bit snug and alot of people was seated very close to each other and that was the premium seats.you would think premium seats would be the best ones but sadly not comfy at all! The show I loved though. Elvis was GR8!
