The Original Queenscliff Fish and Chips

It's very expensive when it comes to fish, delicious. I'd like to go back to the days when the condiments were sitting on the counter and where FREEEE! Save a lot of waste, too!

We were visiting from Melbourne and we are so glad we came here. It’s one of the best fish and chips place we have ever been too! They’re seafood was fresh!

Fish was dry and chips are really not nice
The owners really should make themselves some and sit down and see what they are like

The best that we've had since being in Australia. We went 2 days on a row. Fabulous service as well. Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointing, got Steak sandwich with the lot $15, thin sandwich bread, hardly toasted, not cut through so when tried to pick it up the bottom half came up in 1 go and was extremely messy. So disappointed Simple thing like take away no Serviettes, won't go back.

Love this fish and chip shop!
Many seaside fish and chip shops are incredibly expensive and provide small portions. With that in mind, this dish and chips shop is not incredibly expensive and always serves decent fish and chips. I love the vegetarian burger and suvolaki options here.
Everytime we are in the area we eat here. Always happy with the service!

This was by far a better alternative to the other we tried. Great fish and chips. Had the fisherman's basket which is great value. Very impressed. Only downside is the step to get into the store.

The potato cakes are probably the best we’ve ever eaten, the chips were cooked to perfection, but as far as value for money, this place gets a big zero! We ordered the large chips but when we opened the parcel all we found was a handful of chips. What should have been a great lunch ended up leaving us with a bad taste in our mouths.

Was so looking forward to my fish, it had the weired smell, smelt and tasted like a cleaner or something to that affect.

The time this place has been measured as being among the best can be measured in decades rather than years. And they're not resting on past glory. It's like the quality hasn't missed a beat since we'll before the turn of the century. Delish fish varieties and crispy chips flush with quality potato, divine scallops and other battered bites. Bravo.

Food was great but the wait was a little ridiculous. 45+ minutes which was only told to us after we had already paid. $2 for extra sauce seemed a little much too. Calimari strips were a stand-out.

Not bad. No salt whatsoever when I asked for extra and never received my dim sims which I ordered 6 of so were missed greatly. 8/10 for quality. 2/10 for service.

Ordered a burger with the lot, chips, potato cakes and a sausage in batter.
The entire meal was cooked really well. We didn't find our food was to oily like some fish and chips can be.
Will definitely head back when in the area next.

Super busy seafood hub. Do watch for combo meals they have amazing mix with plenty of chips very generous amount. Don't expect a box for packing, it just comes on a plain white paper.

Wouldn't let me have anything other than flake in the "fish deal", despite no indications on the menu about it and the menu having a separate "flake deal", and were generally rude about it.

Flake was almost sticky due to how super fresh it was, chunky chips cooked to perfection, nicest f'n'c we have had in a very long time. Good customer service, friendly and welcoming, food was quick to come out. Highly recommend.

Very nice serve of grilled barramundi. 10 staff very efficiently running the shop. Clean and a great range of take-away.

Every time I've been to Queenscliff in the last 10 years I have stopped at this place, the fish is clearly fresh and it's the perfect food to have by the beach.
