The National Hotel

Went to my best friends party here over the weekend! The room was spacious the set up was really nice. Loved that you could dim the lights to set the mood! Over the bar prices were really good and James was very accommodating! Thanks to the girl behind the bar for great service and for the laughs! Food was really yummy but was quite expensive for what was received throughout the night still had the best night though!

After being overseas for 10 years I was disappointed to see the once "Nash" had changed. I thought I'd try the new nash to see how it was, The vibe was very dull, Bar staff rude, Beverages on tap not the greatest and my meal was really dry. Shame really, thought upgrading the venue may of made it better however it seems you have lost alot of business and respect.

We recently had our wedding here at the National Hotel and I could not recommend them highly enough, nothing short of the most perfect night. The rooftop terrace is a beautiful rustic space that was transformed so easily into the most romantic space. Food impeccable and service A+. Thanks again Mr and Mrs Brockway x

Nice newly renovated hotel. Clean and well presented. Has a great rooftop bar with lift access. Meals were delicious and the Carlton draught tank beer was just superb. Staff were friendly and accomadating. A good before and after the AFL game venue. Cheers

Held my 21st on the rooftop. Booked a number of months in advance however had a lot of questions and queries leading up to the event so I would be frequently emailing James. He was great, replied to me promptly and clearly. The actual night was fantastic. All my guests raved about the finger food, the sound-system was clear and went nice and loud for later in the night. The staff working at the bar and handing out food were fantastic. So friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way they could to make my night one to remember. I didn't have any problems or complaints on the night, and looking back could not have chosen a better venue. Definitely recommend for any function!

I recently held my 40th Birthday party in the dining room at the National Hotel. It was such a great night. From the very beginnings of my dealings with James to the goodbye at the end of the night, everything was a huge success. James is a pleasure to deal with, very attentive, professional and personable. My guests raved about the food and there was a lot to eat, and also about how lovely the staff where, they were very impressed.
I would highly recommend the National hotel to anyone looking for a space for a special event. Thanks James and crew. It was awesome.
