$25 steak night can't go wrong. Fantastic staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere. Classic pub! Will return.

This is the 3rd time we have returned to The National for our Christmas function and yet again it was amazing! The organization prior and ability to pre-order our meals made the event so much easier to coordinate on the day and the dining room is the most beautiful space for a private function. Especially with the fireplace and private bar. Food is always 5 stars!

We booked a last minute birthday party for 42 people and Liz and the team at the National were fantastic. The dining room is a great space and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a private dining option for any event.

I went out for my birthday dinner and drinks, with a small group last night. We were told last drinks “upstairs” was finishing up at 8: 50 and no closing time was specified.then 5-10 minutes after I was told very rudely by a waitress/bartender to finish my drink as they are closing, i asked the closing time and she said they don’t have a set closing time.she made me finish my drink very quickly and was extremely rude as she mimicked my comments and slammed the door behind us. I would strongly recommend to management of the national to re assess their staff as it was unnecessary to speak to customers that way and also very unprofessional and unsafe to force a customer to “skull” the rest of my cocktail then to walk out on the street.

The slider burgers was delicious! Drinks were so good too, the stairs however were making me work out.

We want pass on our thank you to the National Hotel for hosting our pre wedding welcome dinner in their dining room. The night was excellent and the atmosphere, service was excellent. Many thanks, Frank and Samantha.

Just decided to have dinner here and I ended up getting the steak and my partner got the chicken and both cooked perfectly. The drinks were wonderful. The girl behind the bar was fantastic, service all in all. It was a great evening I even got a candle on my desert because it was my birthday.

Looking for a place to eat my partner and I stumbled on this place. The service from a lovely lady was absolutely fantastic 10/10 took our order never wrote it down. I order Porter House Blu to rare and my partner had King Prawns and Crab. Results, the steak 10/10 the chef even came out to make sure, the steak was ok, my partner meal 10/10 everything ordered was spot on Not over priced. Thank you National Hotel

I had my 21st at the National on their rooftop function space and it was an amazing venue with great food and drinks! James and his team were super friendly and helpful and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Booked the dining room for my 40th and it was fantastic. Staff were friendly and happy to help, food was absolutely delicious with generous servings. Venue was amazing. Big thank you to James and his team for such a smooth and easy function experience. Highly recommend!

Food and service was amazing. Great staff, so friendly. Very welcoming. The pulled pork parmi is amazing.
Real chicken for the amazing Parmi, it was amazing too.
I highly recommend this venue. Friendly and accommodating staff. Willing to help organise any sized function or dinner.
If you get a chance to visit this venue I guarantee you won't be disappointed in any aspect.
I highly recommend this venue for any future bookings.
You will not walk away hungry.

The food was great, took a while for the food to be cooked and the young female patrons at the table right next to us were so loud and rude which showed the disrespect they have for others it's all about them disgusting it was my first time there and I'll never go there again I pity the owners having to put up with that disrespect

I recently had my 30th here and booked the rooftop function room. Everything leading up to the night was easy and efficient, any questions I had were answered within a prompt timeframe and everything was extremely reasonable with multiple options offered for food and the drinks tab! On the night the service of drinks and food were spot on, all my guests were raving about how tasty and generous the canapés were! If you are looking for a function space for your next event, I would recommend checking The National Hotel out!

I had my 21st Birthday at The National Hotel on their Rooftop bar and it was fantastic the venue is amazing the staff are so kind and happy to help with anything and are quick to respond to emails which made the organisation side of my event super easy for me! I would highly recommend The National! Awesome atmosphere, amazing staff and beautiful food!

Excellent food, service and everything! The guys running the dining room and bar couldn’t have been nicer and more friendly, and accommodating. Brilliant!

Lovely dinner at National Hotel. Staff are so friendly, inviting and happy to help. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails! A huge thankyou to Riley and Santosh for their cocktail expertise and Mel for the warm welcome on arrival. The rooftop bar had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back for dinner again!

6 stars if I could give it 6 stars. Had a booking for 20 people on a Saturday, the rooftop is amazing. Bar and wait staff were so nice and friendly, food was fantastic and so was the service. The rooftop is so pretty, will definitely be visiting again.

3 of us had lunch at the Hotel on Friday the 24/9/21. I’d like to say the service was excellent. The food was so delicious, Fresh and cooked beautifully. Definitely dine there again.

Amazing service! We held a baby shower at this venue over the weekend. The service from all of the lovely staff was incredible! The staff went above and beyond to give us the best day! Everyone that attended the shower was very impressed with not only the event space, the food was amazing!
If you are thinking of holding an event at the national, do it! You won’t be disappointed, our day was beyond perfect!
