The Mill Echuca

We were a party of two and sat at a round bar table for two. Either the floor was not level or the table legs were not level but it was constantly shifting and with drinks on the table one had to be cautious of not contacting the table too hard. We ordered some hot food to go with the beer. Both the beer and the snack food was excellent. It was a relatively quiet place to carry on a conversation.

Superb food in the rustic ambience of an old flour mill. We had dips to start with, Gnocchi for the main and cheese cake to finish. All were excellent and creative. Will be back next time we visit Echuca.

Great service and nice enough food. Some hit and miss dishes, generally overpriced for the quality. Please refrain from letting children perform music in the restaurant, this was truly dreadful and very unprofessional.

Had the sweet potato gnocchi and greens on the side. Absolutely to die for. Best gnocchi I've ever tasted. Great service, food, and wine.

Great atmosphere. Exceptional service, the food came out so very quick and was exquisite. Am very new to town so I must say, the bar has been set very high for the rest of Echuca

Maybe because it was a Tuesday night,
Scallops and dumplings excellent, seafood patties over cooked no seafood. Pork Belly all fat and not cooked was sent back to kitchen.
Both steaks cooked as requested, very nice.
Potatoes in duck fat, soft and tasted like they had been reheated. Beer and wine great.
Staff good, credited back glass of wine.

Lovely restaurant with a fantastic beer menu. Lots of local craft beers to choose from. Food was pretty good. Portions are fair and we'll balanced. Service could be improved. All in all, an enjoyable place and would try it again.

Not even to dessert and I'm already reviewing. Steak was fantastic, the beer. I'm very glad to have come here with my wife. Recommended!
