Almost 9 years ago, when the owner Jude lived in Holland, we had Jude as our wedding photographer. My wife and I knew instantly that we should hire her for the job.

Jude has a can do mentality, is persuasive, charming and convincing and can persuade everyone to take a good pose and create a marvellous photo. And.she is a magician!

To make a nice photo of me while I'm trying to laugh is almost impossible, to put it mildly. To let woman and man understand each other is way easier than photograping me with a laugh on my face.

And Jude did it!

We are still in contact and still fan of her work and in my opinion, her work is continiously improving from an already incredible high standard and. Furthermore, as a person she keeps growing. To see the self esteem and confidence she gives to anyone who poses for her, it is safe to say that she is better than a lifecoach.

Jude was amazing to work with. She made the whole experience so smooth and really eased our nerves. The photos ended up being so beautiful.

I cannot recommend ‘The Melbourne Portrait Studio’ enough. Judith is so lovely and welcoming! My mum and I felt comfortable and had so much fun getting our photos taken. A lovey food platter and a cinema viewing of all the images was so heart warming. The hardest thing was chosing which photos we liked the best! Our portrait arrived today and I cannot hide my excitement that my mum and I now have a very special piece of artwork we can treasure forever!

Judith is by far the best portrait photographer in Melbourne. I don't know many people that are comfortable doing photo shoots, so to be made to feel as comfortable as Judith makes you feel and to actually enjoy having your photo taken is a fantastic quality. Judith put me at ease very quickly. She took the time to understand why I was having a photo taken, what I was wanting and where it would go in my home. I think she beautifully captured the moment that I was after. She is an artist and works hard to produce an art piece for your home, one that you will always look at and melt.

Prior to our session with Judith we were excited as we wanted to capture the closeness of our family at a special time in our lives.

Apart from the beautiful artwork which now takes pride of place in our living room, our favourite part of the portrait experience was on the day itself. In our busy lives of running a business, school and sporting commitments, it was great to spend an afternoon together.
