The Jam Factory reviews
49The film was great. It’s disappointing that we can’t book tickets at the box office anymore and have to pay extra online for it. The guy at the candy store didn’t ask to scan my rewards card and I had it ready to scan as well but forgot to while trying to pay.
I like the Jam Factory, despite nearly everything being closed except for the movies. It’s my main choice for cinema location and I will add more when they renovate and open up new commercial stores! Hopefully a 4D cinema!
No jam at all even WITHB THE NAME JAM FActory! @! And also hilda the waiter at the cinema was rude to me and didnt offer me any popcorn with my tickets.
The jam Factory is a large-ish shopping/eating/cinema complex with remnants of it's past on display (there's a large red brick chimney in the middle, similar to Melbourne Central's tower). They've been struggling with COVID restricting numbers so support them if you can. I docked a star as apart from the chimney, the place has very little character. The large golden columns are a bit weird and pretentious IMHO.
Not a lot of options when it comes to dining or shopping experience. Most of the places are closed and the complex is very quiet.
Used to be lit af. Now abit sad and decrepit, but is getting a makeover so let the good times roll again!
So, so little to do it's actually astounding how the doors are still open. Probably because village hq is here I guess.
A good working cinema and good parking with a good food court. Nothing exceptional as this place is like any other centres of their tier.
Clean and comfortable cinemas with extremely helpful staff.
Perhaps not the best choice of cinema if you have mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs and although there are lifts and escalators these aren't always working. The lift up to cinemas 1-8 is easy to get access before a movie as you need a staff member but after the movie it it's difficult to find someone.
It is set inside the Jam Factory building which in itself is something to look at and a little bit different.
Great cinemas and a car park so it's easy to get to them. We arrived in a day when it was very hot before the movie and very cool at the end.
A very unique mall with a great arcade, fun photo booth, instagram polariod photo printer and Japan in a Can. Also so many tasy resturants and fast food places.
Great clean and quite place to grab a bite to eat at Nando's whilst shopping in Chapel Street.great service at Nandos as well
Forever evolving. If you like catch ups over coffee this place is for you. The surrounding area is peppered with an assortment of shops and Village cinemas with a fabulous candy bar and large parking garage.
The Village Cinema is spacious, clean and well equipped. Parking is convenient and there are loads of great restaurants close by.
This place is too be pumping and had amazing shops. Now it's really quiet. The foodcourt, the cinemas and the facilities are still amazing though.
Has a decent selection of food, entertainment and other types of stores. Would recommend if your in need of a bite to eat or just want to go watch a movie. There are places as well to just have a sit down and relax during the day. Never too busy but around lunch can sometimes be hard to get a seat or get food somewhat quickly.
Very interesting place, great to wander around and find some good places to eat, or have coffee. Across from the Prahran market which has some great food products and fresh organic vegies.
Neat, clean and chic place blended with a rustic old school feel. Located along the popular Chapel Street, this is a good spot to shop, eat and watch movies at village cinemas.
Sadly, just like almost the entire Chapel street, the consumer has left this place in droves. It's a mere skeleton of what it used to be.
