The Ivory Elsternwick

We had a function last week. I believe what makes an average feedback turn into a good feedback are the little things. As I was saying goodnight to one of my guests, I missed the coffee being served. I asked kindly shortly later, is there any chance for a basic cup of coffee? Answer was.sorry kettles have been put away. Really? I never complain but that got me fired up. I have paid thousands of $$ for this venue and a coffee was too hard to make. Ghee it would have made a huge difference in my feedback. Think about it. I could have written something like, “they went out of their way to make me a coffee”. Pretty disappointed. “The Ivory”. Take note to the smaller details. Food? Very average also.

We loved this venue so much it definitely ticked all the boxes for us. Absolutely beautiful venue and very accommodating staff. From our very first meeting to the wedding day was truely a stress free experience. We had the best night and all within our budget. Everything went smoothly and the food was beautiful. We had cocktails in our package which was an absolute hit with our guests. We had excellent feedback from our guests who said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. We loved the fact the dance floor was a great size and they even accommodated us breaking plates (greek tradition) which some of the other venues were not flexible about. We had a truely magical day and can’t thank the staff at The Ivory Elsternwick enough.

We want to thank Claire who helped us achieve our vision and our special day come to light. It was the most magical day! After one year, we still can't believe that our wedding day went so smoothly, people are still talking about how amazing the food was, the place and the atmosphere was.

As soon as we visited The Ivory Elsternwick we fell in love!
We had Claire as our coordinator - She was super lovely to deal with & was with us throughout the planning stages.
The Ivory has so many special little touches such as the grand piano, fireplace & outside greenery wall.
The stand out for us was the dramatic blush bud-lit ballroom ceiling that gave our wedding the romantic vibe we were after.
We received so much positive feedback from our guests that the food was outstanding and they loved the cocktails on the night.
The rose garden terrace was a stunning backdrop for our sunset photos and photographed beautifully for our sparkler send off!
