The Inlet Hotel reviews
57Absolutely amazing meal. I dined on a large table and everyone raved about the food. If you are looking for a subpar pub meal go elsewhere, the dining here is more like a restaurant and the prices reflect. Anyone complaining about prices need to be quiet and just appreciate good food.
Good seafood here. On a cool summer evening, it doesn’t have a lot of atmosphere but the service is friendly, prompt and professional
Great hotel good feel and friendly staff. We sat outside, and it was fantastic setup. Meals were excellent, really filling and well cooked. Definitely worth checking it out. Indoors looks fine and outdoors undercover is suitsable for all weather.
Great pub quality meals in a relaxed environment. Bookings are essential in school holidays times.
Lovely meal and dessert. Quick service even though they were very busy. Friendly efficient staff.
Delicious food! The restaurant was absolutely packed which is always a good sign. Would recommend but book so you can grab a spot!
No COVID check-in. Rude, sour and disinterested staff. Place was practically empty yet still managed to get order wrong. Would not trust them with any dietary requirements. Large wait time on children’s food.
Very expensive for what we thought was a particularly ordinary pub feed.
I ordered a chicken Parma (it’s simple pub fare, so how could it go wrong) but instead received a dryish chicken schnitzel with soggy chips and a serve of underwhelming salad. My partner’s fish of the day, which was salmon came with no accompanying sauce of any description, and accompanied by a serve of half cooked vegetables; which included a glassy potato, ‘not particularly palatable’ was the gist of her (unrepeatable here) commentary on the veg, while the salmon also got a thumbs down for tasting rather bland.
I was told off by one of the bar staff for ordering a drink from the bar, yet I (along with many others) had been doing so already that night with nary a comment from the other bar staff.
Anyway we certainly won’t be being visiting this establishment again.
Great food, the crispy skin Barra is Devine. Close to the beach with friendly staff, it’s a good dinner choice. Not pet friendly though
Staff were friendly and meals came out quickly.
The calamari salad which was delicious and the calamari was fresh and well seasoned.
The Seafood board for $65 was a huge disappointment, oysters were old and not fresh, big chunks of smoked salmon but no bread or anything to eat it with. Bugs and prawns were also soggy and old.
Only condiments we're aioli and an exceptionally bitter vinegarette. I really like vinegar but this just tasted like straight white vinegar.
If you're a Seaford fan go elsewhere.
1 hour 15 to get breakfast, not sure how this place is still in businesses, totally disorganized outfit, no COVID check in, no headcount control at all, food when it did finally arrive was good portion sizes and tasty
It’s a mighty fine pub experience. The meals here would put many a city and regional pub to shame. Great quality and very decent size. We had the seafood board and the flathead fillets. Both were excellent. The seafood board was heaving with great seafood. The flathead fillets were most tidy as well. Tasty and very nicely composed, cooked and presented the lot. We liked the dining space here too. Nice vibe. Staff were good too. It’s a very respectable pub experience. Recommended.
High St pub food with Gastropub prices. Parma was reasonable, chips were average. My wife's calamari was a generous serve with a nice salad but the calamari itself was floury and left on the plate.
A few options for kids meals.
Two stars for the meals plus a third because the food came out quickly.
Next time we'll go somewhere else.
We had a takeaway meal delivered tonight because of covid19. I had paella & mentioned that I don't like peas & it arrived piping hot without peas. It was delicious. Hubby had roast beef. It was a very generous serving, hot & a lots of vegies & a lovely gravy. Thanks Inlet Hotel for a lovely meal.
Labor day weekend, friendly staff and plenty of room to fit 3 adults and children late notice. The food - my Parma was just enough (even with a 2yr old monster eating the topping), tiny basket of chips salted just enough but could have had more of the salad - yummy dressing though. The grilled & fried flathead was cooked well. For the special occasion or an impromptu birthday dinner - the Inlet is the best pub in Inverloch.
A couple of nice vegetarian options, otherwise a pretty good range of mostly standard pub fare. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.
Very good service, in a very nice setting. Great value menu with a very good range of choices for our lunch. We had a very nice time with some close friends.
Nice typical pub food but extremely over priced. Everyone enjoyed their meals but dessert cost nearly the same as 3 hat restaurant last week
Very disappointing, firstly booked previous day to arrive to no booking. Waited 20 minutes for a table, then had to request cutlery.
Garlic bread came out without any garlic and dripping with butter. Calamari was oily and salad was soggy.
Overall a bad experience.
One positive though, friendly staff. Lifted them from one star to two.
Sensational! Amazing food, service and well priced for what you get. Do not go to Inverloch without going here:)
