The House of Mandi reviews
31 Incredible food! Every mouthful was so delicious. Absolutely give it a try.
It's not spicy. We will definitely be back! Thanks for making such increase food!
Ex Gulf residents will not be disappointed.mandi is a 10/10 in my opinion. And dont miss the somali halwa.
The best mandi taste you can have in Melbourne for real mandi taste. The price is pretty fear for the meal. Their place for dine-in is neet improvement. However, they make it very well and I blive it is the best mandi taste you can try in Melbourne.
Makr sure you ask them about the dishes before ordering. In our case the had a new employee who wasnt sure about the order so had to struggle a bit. But overall food, atmosphere is really good
A wonderful restaurant for those who miss the real middle eastern mandi rice. Yousef has explained to me his difficulties in making a traditional Arabic foods in Australia while they are doing a wonderful job in providing the authentic dishes here. We ate Mandi rice, lamb shank with salads; the soup was so delicious and recommend the restaurant to anyone who miss the real Arabic food. I have seen comments like the restaurant ambience is dull but that is covered by the friendly staff and their hospitality.
The mandi is great. Try the lamb shank but it gets over pretty quickly. Would suggest call and book before coming.
Restaurant is owned and run by Muslims so everything here is Halal.
Love their lamb hotplate.you should try it. They mandi rice is also nice. Take tram 59 from Elizabeth St to Flemmington.
Had disappointing dinner experience here after having chicken mandi. Our food arrived after 25 mins and checking thrice. Anyways.i would still b happy if it would be worth the wait but no.rice was not fresh and it lacked flavour.chicken was still soft but it was just ok. Apart from food, the restaurant was dingy and tables weren't cleaned.there was just one guy who was at the counter, takinh order, serving, cleaning.and that too witout hand gloves or head cap.i saw a kid running back and forth from kitchen. Overall i would say it was a mistake which il not repeat and suggest u guys the same.
Best Mandi I had sofar in Melbourne. The management and staff are super nice. The lamb and chicken was amazing Silky soft from inside. Will be coming again
Best place to try traditional yemani cuisine ‘Mandi’ in Melbourne. The lamb shank is so good in taste, but always pre-book that as it’s finished early.
