The House of Mandi

We called and reserved a seat for 8 people, but when we arrived after traveling for 1 hour, they informed us that there was no food available and their behavior towards us was extremely poor.

Used to be very nice but now a days it’s very bad didn’t like it at all. The soup is not a go to option here…! Chicken Mandi was okish and lamb was not coooked properly In lamb Mandi…! If they change the way to serve and make it well done will be back to normal.

The ambiance was nice & simple. Food was on point; however, their service was 10/10.
Food came in quick – it was fresh and tasted so good.
The owner is super friendly as well.
Would definitely visit again.

Fine food, but service is slow. Thank you for accomodating us without booking. Try platter if you are three people or more. The place take cash only. I would recommend them to improve service, overall food is tasty and the best it is halal.

Delicious food and good service. The lamb is tender and nicely spiced, and our meal came with a lovely spicy vege soup.

Travelled 25 mins, called them to keep two lamb mandis only to be told sorry we couldn’t do it. Extremely unprofessional attitude from the girl over reception

Can say its a hidden gem. Tried it for the first time today and it didnt disappoint. Best Lamb Mandi and Spicy Suqaar. Highly recommended.

Nice food. Tried lamb shank.meat was tender and after eating it, finished with sulaimani tea.
If not tried yet, try it. Thank me later. Staff is co operative. Reasonable prices as well.

Good food. But you will need to keep cash handy as it's a "cash-only" establishment. Also the ambience could be a little better.
Only reason to return would be the food.

The staff was friendly, however the cleanliness can be improved. The food was proper amazing though.

I dont know how they call their dishes as Mandi. Never ever have I had such a tasteless Mandi. Neither the rice was fresh nor the Lamb we ordered. We went there with so much hope for having the mandi after a while but it was tasteless and not fresh either. And then they ask cash as a method of payment too. Not recommended at all

My first experience of Mandi, was excellent. We enjoyed our meals of Lamb shank, and 1/2 chicken. The side sauce are a great compliment too, the green one has some fire to it, but the yoghurt will help with that. Rice is very nice too. Cheap meal, cash only, ample seating and outdoor as well. Highly recommended this place.

Staff is always polite and helpful, I drive all the way to Flemington from Hallam atleast twice a month. I like the roasted Lamb with Bukhari Puloa but their Shank is next level for lamb lovers.

They go above and beyond to serve you. Plenty space. Upstairs for families and kids.

The food is always great, but service need a good uplift. People break the queue and go at front ignoring everyone. No one was at the counter for sometime, had to press bell multiple times and more than 4 customers were waiting.

Hope they get eftpos too.
