The Great Aussie Beer Shed & Heritage Farm Museum reviews
55Alan is a Great Narrator, tells the History/story of the Beer Shed with passion, Great place to visit
Bloke went out of his way to open for only for 4 tourists and after hours. He and his wife drove back to Echuca from Colac just to share his passion and love for a collection of a to z Australian history. From Automobiles to Zany figurines.
This is a must see, MAKE the time. The beers were never dry, always ice cold and a great range to choose from. Apple cider to zebra he has it.
Every square centimetre from floor to roof there is something to see.
Focus points for myself was the original CUB wooden horse drawn cart, fully restored by CUB horse drawn cart gifted to him for his passion and pure joy of doing the museum.
And 1 of only 3 of the very first beer can ever made.
Nice hall for functions like Weddings and such.
And finally the most important part, the man makes the tour so engaging and entertaining with great humour and a magic to his personality that would make even a moldy piece of cabbage seem like it is the best meal you have ever had in your life!

This place was so unique and fun, Neil was warm and welcoming and there a great presentation at the end.
We have been here a number of times over the years, it's always a surprise with the amount of Aussie stuff Neil seems to find always something different to look at along with the new car displays. Absolutely loved it and Neil's enthusiasm for all family members old and young
We went with no real expectations, only for this to be a highlight of our Echuca trip. So much history (and beer cans) all in one place. Our son was made an assistant tour guide and helped Neil with his presentation. Neil made him feel so important AND then gave him a gift for helping.
So many things to see. Well worth a look.
An amazing place to visit. A hidden gem in Echuca, as people might think it's a brewery, which it's not. Such an extensive collection of so many things, ranging from beer cans to farm machinery to cars, the CUB wagon and harnesses, and some WWI items. Neil and Andrea are fantastic hosts. I could listen to Neil talk all day. He even involved children in his presentation - my sons love it! Money spent is also donated to the Children's Hospital. This was our second visit and it definitely won't be the last!
Neil was kind enough to allow us in on a day that they're not normally open and was so accommodating! He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and his tour was amazing! My husband and I stopped in for our honeymoon and it was well worth it. We are so glad we made the trip. The sheds are full to the brim of incredible collections. We had the best time, thanks again Neil
Our second visit after a 10 year gap. Amazing as ever and expanded a lot. Thank you Neil you are a true Aussie gem.
Must see tourist attraction
So much history
Privileged to experience at private party at sunset
Warm hospitality and service
A perfect Echuca gem
Just spent a fun couple of hours here. Neil was very entertaining and his collection over 46 years has to be seen to be believed. A lovely tribute to his dad Jack in the shed dedicated to vintage cars. Great value and suitable for all ages - even gets the kids involved which was great to see.
Went there today im not a beer drink but this collection is amazing so many things to look at including cars, Well done Neil very informative great knowledge and passion
A great way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of stuff to look at. An enjoyable history lesson as well. Neil was very hospitable and knowledgeable.
Highly recommend visiting during school holidays!
Unexpected surprise - so accommodating, dog welcome, loved the chat after the tour. Neil is a very entertaining, informative and engaging host. Make the effort to visit.
We called in today to visit the museum. An amazing collection of automobile memorabilia, garagenalia, cars, tractors, carts, machinery and more. A really lovely host that made us feel really welcome and was really great with our two young kids. When you’re in Echuca definitely come for a visit and a drink at the bar. And when Covid is all over, come up and book a function in the unbelievable function area. It will have your guests talking about it for a very long time. We loved it!
I highly recommend this wonderful place filled with antique and unique stuff, and a special shout out to Neil who is the owner of this place, he was so welcoming, funny and amazing with the kids! He gave us a tour guide which was so informative and interesting, the entire family enjoyed this experience and will definitely come again the next time we're in Echuca and you should to. We loved it!
Fantastic place to see and enjoy. Neil is a great host, do yourself a favour and visit this place. Great to have a beer with you Neil. Cheers
Great place to visit, more than just a bunch of old cans, plenty of history and great hospitality from the owner.
Easy to pull in with a caravan and turn around to park.
Wonderful place to visit. Such a huge collection of items. Very informative tour by the owner. He is full of energy which reflects in his collection too.
Been here twice in last 15 years and just love it. Neil is a person who takes such pride in collecting so many things (besides beer cans) and yet displays them so well. His place is immaculate. He starts with a brief tour and then allows you to roam freely around. Her really entertained or 2 kids as part of his preso and they thorughly enjoyed being there today. Great work Neil!
What an awesome surprise this place is.
Neil is a very entertaining man.
We loved it
