Wait staff fantastic, great service and great prices.
Unfortunately chicken undercooked and salad sour, key learnings for local health department, hopefully not in hospital in the morning, otherwise great ambience

Great main meal from the seniors menu. Battered fish and chips were great, as was the salad. The sticky date pudding was disappointing, and I would have asked for my money back if I'd paid the $15 full price.

Good food for both parties, normal and vegans. Quick service and not too noisy in the bar.

Had a good feed when we randomly stopped here before attending an event. Will definitely go back.

Quite impractical to Uber to a place that’s closed over an hour before it claims to. Frustrating that it’s impossible to get a drink on a Saturday night in a so-called livable city!

Beautiful meal with great service looking forward to returning. Saw KITTY Flannagan great venue for this.
Carpark was handy too.

We've had two great meals at the Grandview now.

One Sunday a few weeks back we popped in while wandering around Fairfield and went back for an unplanned lunch. The roast pork was very good and the eggplant parmagiana was two meals in one.

Last Friday we had a catchup with friends. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The kitchen even made the sauce for the tortellini from scratch to accommodate my wife's dietary needs.

Great pub, awesome staff, fantastic meals and friendly customers. Will be going back again and again.

I've been twice now. I came this time with my family and we all very much enjoyed the grandeur of this lovely Victorian hotel. The food was delicious. As it was Sunday, I had the roast of the day which was lamb and roast vegetables and roast potatoes. Everything was perfect. The staff and service was wonderful. In fact, the bar man made me a glorious gluwein. I'll definitely be back.

Only stopped in for one, but it seemed a nice, clean place. TVs, pool table and decent beer selection. Fair price

Had a birthday in the Cellar Bar. The bar staff were prompt and friendly, the food was fantastic and the room was so nice and cozy with the Chesterfields and fireplace.

Recently had dinner in the Bristo. I had the steak which was cooked just right.the atmosphere was very good with an open fire

Noise from an adjoining area made conversation difficult.
That said, recent renovations have improved the premises immensely and the menu has good variety at reasonable prices.

From the moment we walked in to enquire about booking a small reception here we were sold, staff were friendly and informative. We really like the relaxed room and were happy with it the way it was we had no intention of decorating. On the day we arrived to find they had set up a beautiful table with flowers and lit candles, I was so touched by this thoughtfulness. We had a selection of foods and they all tasted amazing. 100% recommend you won't be disappointed.

We will be back! Love the new face lift … you can tell a lot of love has gone into it. Friendly service too. Big venue, TAB, nice big outdoor area with fairy lights, large bistro room with bar & fire, also rooms for private functions. Food was way better than normal pub food - the new chefs are great, the kingfish sashimi & ricotta tortellini were delicious! Thank you
