Good venue for an outside wedding, however there are additional restraints imposed due to the venue being zoned residential. Interior is lovely and catering for "high tea" is excellent.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent take away High Tea at the Gables. The savoury and sweet pastries were delicious and the scones were to die for with raspberry jam and clotted cream. A special treat during lockdown! Keep up the great work!

This had to be on of the best High Tea packages I have ever had! The Price was so reasonable and the amount/quality of food we got was amazing (our favorite were the scones)! High Tea at home during COVID is a fantastic way to keep busy whilst staying home. I would highly recommend the Gables. I know i will be back again. Thanks for a delicious experience.

High Tea Fathers' day surprise arranged by my 2 wonderful daughters.
It was overwhelming but most acceptable.
The quality was astounding and worth every penny they paid for it.

Enjoyed a friend's wedding at Gables on Sunday. Beautiful setting, intimate, very nice food and great management from Phillipa and crew. They really did a wonderful job, and the event was memorable and romantic. We'll done!

We had our wedding here with very short notice and Phillipa was incredibly accomodating, thorough, and professional throughout the entire experience. By all accounts from our guests there was absolutely nothing we could fault them for. Everything ran smoothly and down to the minute on our schedule and the staff were very friendly. The food was also fantastic. We highly recommend The Gables to everyone!

Definitely on the pricey side for what it's worth. The high tea was great, ulimited tea and coffee wowweeeeee!
The lady that waited our table was lovely enough to show us around the home and give us a little background info! Lovely old building, the street that it sits in is stunning too - there are huge leafy trees covering the road.

Beautiful home attended a funeral service there it was the lovely ladies favourite place to go to for high tea the refreshments afterwards were amazing

Best wedding reception centre located in Malvern East they had an ice cream stall on the day that was sensational!

Absolutely recommend The Gables for special events. We celebrated my Mother's 100th Birthday with a High Tea and couldn't fault the service. Our exclusive room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious and we all enjoyed the day!

What a beautiful old home set amongst very mature trees and gardens. Wonderful food and service. Friendly helpful staff an awesome place for a wedding or photos.

I had my 50th at the Gables and would like to shout out to Anna who looked after my guests impeccably. The house was magnificent and the food was lovely, all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We recently held my dad's funeral service and wake at The Gables in East Malvern. The grand house and surrounds are absolutely stunning. From our initial contact through to the final invoice being processed, their service was exceptional. Everything that we requested was taken care of including a last minute request we made on the morning of the event. The event itself went extremely smoothly allowing us to focus on the service and spending time with our guests. The catering was superb and served on beautiful crockery. All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and I'm sure some will utilise it for their own events. Our family can't thank Jess, Cass, Phillipa and Michelle enough for making sure we were able to farewell my dad so beautifully.

A especially beautiful old mansion. We had High After noon tea. A very special treat. Big garden surrounds and adorned with spectacular lead light windows. Have booked a lovely room for my birthday very soon. It will be canapes and sit down 3 course meal.

A lovely tea rooms establishment. Beautiful place for a small event or just a high tea catch up with the girls.

The Gables is just simply elegant! Perfect for your wedding day, the staff are friendly and helpful. The outside area is gorgeous and well kept, but the inside is truly amazing. With rooms upstairs for both bridal parties to prepare beforehand and during the wedding. The day ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all. Highly recommend this as a wedding and reception place. Ten stars!
