The French Pear Cafe reviews
45Amazing service, beautiful decor, lovely staff (AMAZING) would go here everyday, fabulous prices absoloutely cheaper than expected, LOVED IT! Thank you so much for hosting a family members birthday!
A very cool place with great food and friendly staff. I love the French artistic flair and the framed paintings. Really cool spot
Wonderful unstressed environment and staff, generous portions. "I'll be back".
Breakfast. Went in ordered coffee and eggs benedict with a hash brown. $34. Way over priced. Coffee was good, presentation of meal great. Eggs were hard cooked and bacon was cremated. Maybe pay more attention to the cooking of meals that have been paid for. Will find better option next time.
Low review for the inappropriate posters in the toilets. Assuming this is meant to be a family friendly cafe, catering to children since there is a kids menu.
Took my 3 year old to the toilet, and she walked in and said 'mummy those photos are bad'. At first glance the whole room is wrapped around with vintage images of the moulin rouge era. As you look closer, there are countless promiscuous images, indecent exposure and sexually provocative themes that shouldn't be up for display in a family friendly cafe.
Food was good, but quite expensive for what it is.
Wouldn't go back here based on my above review. Very distasteful. - images I don't want to see as an adult, let alone my toddlers to be exposed to as they use the bathroom.
Love coming here with my wife. Very warm atmospheric vibes. Not to mention seriously good coffee. Looking forward to coming back again soon
Wow! Where to start, I had a French version of the toasted cheese and Ham sandwich. It was amazing so I highly recommend that. Also, a massive shout out to the team for their Berry pancakes and the coffee is delicious and the team are warm, friendly and still very professional.
I often come here with my son for a hot drink and macaroon date. Lovely inside, hot chocolates are delicious and have not been disappointed with any food I've had here. Their cakes and macaroons are our favourites though!
Gave them a second go. More pricey, including surcharge for tapping card. Coffee was mediocre, and I’m not that fussy.
What a lovely atmosphere this cafe has! Service was fab, change of menu item was no problem; food was delicious & prompt. What a little gem in Drouin!
Nice cafe, great decor, very nice breakfast, however, a bit on the expensive side.
Took my 7yr old daughter out for a brunch date.
Ordered a coffee, hot chocolate and 2 breakfasts.
Had to ask about breakfast as the menu only showed toasties & rolls. Happily said no problem so my daughter & I both went with, eggs on toast with bacon & hash brown. This with the 2 drinks was $74.00!
But hey the food was nice and my daughter enjoyed it!
This cafe is soooo worth visiting. Delicious food, great tasting coffee, friendly fast service. Love this Cafe!
Delicious meals and excellent service. The decor is beautiful and service was also very quick. They were very accommodating to our 1 year old and it was just a great and welcoming experience. We aren’t local but would definitely be back when in the area.
Note that this cafe is open on Sundays.
Amazingly eclectic French decor. We came for lunch and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth dropping in if you are in Drouin.
Fantastic staff and brilliant service! Would happily recommend this Cafe to anyone local or passing through town for lovely food and delicious hot drinks!
Cute little Cafe, good coffee and lots of delicious treats with a good range of gluten/dairy/etc free. Staff were lovely and found space for the prams.
Their breakfast menu is great. Had the mushroom French toast and it was amazing by far my favourite thing to eat for breakfast now!
Had a very nice lunch. Staff were very nice. Coffee was very good and meals were good value for the money. Baked potatoes was so big. Chicken schnitzel was awesome. Would eat here again.
Bustling on a weekday morning. A really nice selection of cakes, and the coffee was above average. Walking pass you may not give a second glance, however inside is a great inviting space.
Great food, full of flavour and really good coffee. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
