Really nice, relaxed vibe. Plenty of tables and seats and a lovely, quiet view of the boats and river. The food menu is good with a decent number of options - would easily give 5 stars if there were just one or two more vegetarian/vegan options though. They have lots of tasty pastries and sweets at the counter too. Really enjoy every visit here and would consider this to comfortably be the best cafe in Docklands that I've found so far.

Really nice local cafe and it opens early which I like! We got chai lattes which came out quick. The service was friendly.

The best food and service I have received since being in this country, would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. If you have a sweet tooth like me then the Nutella pancake are the way to go!

Fantastic Coffee! Undoubtedly the best coffee shop nearby!
It would be perfect if the food can follow the step of your wonderful coffee!

A fab little find on a quiet Docklands waterfront. Friends and I happened across The Espressonist/FOMO after we found the cafe we’d planned to meet at closed - and it turned out to be quite the lucky outcome.

I can only hazard a guess that this spot is flat chat on a sunny weekend, but being a Monday a walk in was no problem and the environment though 50-70% full was quiet and relaxed.

The staff who served us were personable and attentive, coffee was good, and the menu selection excellent (including all day brekkie/brunch options). Our meals were quick, delicious, and fresh (so much so we commented on how great they were more than once).

It’s almost a shame this spot is tucked away in a quiet corner of the docklands - though I bet the locals love it that way. Would definitely drop in again if wandering by.

Coffee are great. Staff are very firendly. Food is made by quality materials, but the combination of most meals is not right.
I hurt my calf recently. I walk with extremly pain. Today, I went down stair to get a coffee but I forget to bright my wallet. I have only $3.60 in my pocket, I ask the staff about what coffee I can get for $3.60.
The staff said: " the small one is $3.80, sorry about that. "
There are nothing wrong about this staff. I jsut feel not so well when I hear "sorry about that". I don't want to walk back home and go back again. It is too painful.

I am a regular customer at The Espressonist. I keep going back for the quality of their coffee and friendly staff. I've been there over variety of times, ie breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is fantastic and their wine list is exceptional Each service is great, but dinner is very special. I've also been there for a "special event". Their grazing table was the most amazing I've ever seen. It's a great space for a private function. I'll use this venue for an up and coming "special event" of my own. I've always found the service to be friendly and efficient. A great little find in Docklands with a great view over the water and back across the city. I'll keep going back.

This little Gem has evolved from a Gallery with a Pop Up Coffee & Food Bar to the most exquisite and stylish Restaurant.
Coffee is the Best!
Food is delightful with an ever changing menu for day and nights with special event fun nights.
Located in a niche are of Docklands the locals love it and you will find it so relaxing.
And by the way they have a fabulous wine selection!
The Hosts Demian and Victoria are phenomenal, the whole experience is fun and relaxing.
Do yourself a favor and go check it out.

This is a fun cafe with a very friendly staff. It is a little off the beaten path which some may find annoying while other may enjoy as a little excursion. Personally I enjoyed the location as I didn't find the cafe over crowded or noisy.

As for the food and drink, I think it is good with some room for improvement. My coffee (long black) was good and my "big breakfast" was good but some aspects were better than others. The eggs and toast were perfect, but my beans and sausage were a little cool. I think this is simply a matter of timing and making sure everything comes out together. I have to say, while some parts of my breakfast were cool, they were not undercooked. The bacon, hash browns, and roast tomato were spot on! Even if you don't get the big breakfast, do yourself a favour and get the hash browns.

Overall I would definitely recommend them and would be more than happy to go back.

Final note, Kudos to the staff for letting my charge my electric skateboard while having breakfast. It would be a long, slow ride home without the boost.
