For a holiday that everyone takes once in a while, guest rooms are not a great choice and experience and also they are so expensive
However guest rooms are extremely small, we were very uncomfortable overall, also the hot water ran out in few minutes on our first night. TV remote did not work at all. Aircon heating not good at all.
The guest section is the worst, also the reception said they were no room in other section of the hotel but apparently they were such rooms available for the price we paid.
Only good thing is location of the hotel & Hotel Restaurant food which is excellent.

Location was great, free parking but very tight spaces and definitely not enough spaces for the numbers of units on premises - would hate to go in peak season and try to find park. View from the room was great and layout of floorplan very practical.

The unit was neat and clean except for ant infesting my donuts saved overnight for breakfast next morning.
The bed was terrible with two single kings put together but sag in mattresses made a hard lump down the centre. Noted to reception, they attempted to fix but what they provided certainly didn't make a difference. Will need a massage to fix our backs.

We love Lakes Entrance. Friendly staff, nice clean fluffy sheets and towels. But room was very run down, I took pics when I walked in so that I don’t get the blame for how bad the room is. Wifi is horrible the kids where whinging every 10 minutes because it dropped out. Restaurant was closed due to staff shortages, surely could have been some sort of reimbursement or at least a voucher at another restaurant. Got a list of restaurants when we checked in about 80% of them where shut. Not worth the price you pay, make sure you shop around as heaps of closer hotels to the main shopping strip.

Ideal for a young family. Safe secure parking for car. Indoor pool and spar. Close to all amenities.

Located on the Esplanade, easy access to other shops. Etc. Rooms are spacious enough. Shame about view from room 213 facing opposite to water and only view of shop roofs. I am only 1.79 mtr in height, and the vanities and fridge were ridiculous low and very small. I did enjoyed the spa.

It's good but I've been to better. The aircon is just in living room and the showerhead is a bit loose in the bathroom. Staff are pretty good too

Location was great, about 1km from the main strip of shops. Indoor pool and spa was good although it closed at 9pm. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment looking at the water. The room was slightly outdated but still good, would stay here again. The shower was little but water pressure was good. Beds comfy.

The room was smaller than we thought it would be by the photos on the website. The photo showed a table to eat at but no table in the room. The fridge too small. The service was ok.

Go there regularly as a yearly holiday
Normally really happy with the place.
This time around not so much.
They stuffed up my check in and didn't get into my room till 3.30 (check in is 2pm)
The room looked tired, like all maintenance stopped years ago.
It seemed like the staff didn't want to be there.
I checked out early today as organised the night before with reception.
Just had a call when I got home to say they have lost my key.

No WiFi. Apparently having issues, does not help when needed for business purposes. Supposed 5star, definitely nowhere near up to five star and lucky to rate even four star. Very ordinary to describe at best and extremely dissatisfied.

Every aspect was great. The room was fantastic & extremely well priced.
The most impressive thing was the restaurant. My wife and myself spent 5 days in Lakes Entrance & dined at a number of eateries, however far & away the best food was at the Esplanade’s restaurant. As a bonus it only cost $15.50 for a Crown Lager & a Chardonnay. We’re from Sydney & could only dream of those pries.
The staff were fantastic.

We only stayed over night, budget accommodation with very friendly staff. Lovely bed linen which makes such a difference to my stays. Great location with plenty of food options around. Lovely walkway across the road. Would recommend.

Limited to non existent TV entertainment. Reliant on iPad viewing.
Wifi very poor. Drops out after 15 mins. Forget watching anything without significant interruption from 8pm
Hopeless.

Friendly staff, had a couple maintenance issues and they sorted it out real quick.
Internet was a bit slow and maybe some scheduled kids activities would have been nice.
Saw lots of kids and they seemed a little bored.

The service of lack of at this resort is appalling. After having to cancel our trip due to Covid issues we were told very forcefully that there would be no refund or credit issued. We were not after a refund however a credit would have been acceptable especially under the current circumstances with Covid. After all we only wished to be provided with the service for which we had already paid. Especially as we had paid top dollar (over $700 for 2 nights). The manager did not even have the courtesy of replying to our final email. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK

The place itself is well located, has a nice pool and some good facilities. However our experience has been poor. It started with our apartment booking getting lost on our first night, forcing us (family of 3) to squeeze into a small hotel room for the night. We were refunded, but a clear lack of care or any apology from the staff. The internet has not worked properly all week. Our apartment (once we got into it) was only cleaned once in the week, meaning our bins, towels and toilet paper were not replaced when they should be. When the room was cleaned it was done so poorly. We were given $10 vouchers for a restaurant that was closed for the first 3 nights, and despite advertising breakfast being available from 7am, the on-site cafe was closed each day at this time, forcing us to go to the nearby Albert & Co (which is excellent by the way). There were not enough parking spaces so we had to park on the street. For the price we paid, the guest experience has been nothing short of abysmal.

Amazing place to bring yourselves & your family with you. The facilities here are for everyone including a restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay.

Didn't make it due to lockdown 6 but I was very pleased with the way they dealt with our challenge. Have a great customer centric approach and looking forward to when we can stay there.

Loved our stay here. Rooms were clean and spacious. Equipped with everything if you wish to eat in or we had our meal delivered to the room.
