The Esplanade Resort & Spa

My wife and I stayed here last week. I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. Our room was immaculate, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it, a must stay.

My friends and i came here from Melbourne on a girls trip and we were recommended to stay here as it is the best place to stay at Lakes Entrance, however we’ve been more disappointed than impressed. When we checked in we were informed that the restaurant and bar were closed for majority of our stay, would’ve been nice if we were told prior to us coming. We tried to cook dinner and save some money and the stoves weren’t even working, these things and all electric appliances SHOULD be checked before booking an apartment out to other customers. Pool and spa were dirty and looked like it hasn’t even been cleaned. Parking is an absolute nightmare if you have a big car. Must day the resort rooms look much better in the photos than in person. We probably wouldn’t staying here again.

Beautiful rooms, very clean, spacious. Big tv and tv in master room. Nice furniture, the only let down was the lumpy couches, out of the 5 seats only one cushion wasn’t lumpy. Good shower, good bed.

Ideally located for easy access to all Lakes Entrance has to offer our room was clean and comfortable

We had a 1 bedroom apartment.great room, very firm and comfortable bed, good shower.great location with aldi supermarket and visitors center next door.

Large and very quiet hotel, even though it was nearly full. Only stayed 2 night and due to the unseasonably wet and cold weather we eat in at the Espy twice. Small range of options, but we enjoyed all 4 meals which were suprisingly generous portions, certainly didn't have room for desert

Absolutely amazing place, you will enjoy your stay rooms are amazing super comfy beds, has bar and restaurant, meals are amazing too, and staff are all very friendly a great place to stay

Was clean, check in is quick, lots of parking. Breakfast is only available after 7am.
More focused on groups (bus groups)

Absolutely A1. Location away from tourist area. Pool and spa area fabulous.
Definitely many return visits.

Had a great time here, had a swim in the pool and spa which was relaxing later at night when no-one else was in there. Had a few drinks at the outside bar. Would have liked to have dinner at the restaurant but the restaurant was closed for some reason. The bar closed a bit either than we would've liked, being on holidays. But all in all a great place to stay!

Excellent place and location, views were quite good. Room decor needs update. Restaurant service was great. A1 / Good service from Annabelle. Recommend getaway for few days.

Stayed at The Esplanade during a holiday trip to the Lake Entrance. Ideally located property with a restaurant, pool and spa with very interesting room and apartment configurations. Moderately sized rooms in the well furnished apartment. There is a ground floor parking area with number of spaces which the guests can conveniently use. Restaurant has a limited menu. There is no room service, but you can order food and pick up from the restaurant when ready.

Location is good. Indoor spa and pool is a wow factor especially in winter months. We hired a bbq boat and it was fantastic.

The room had a very bad sewerage smell in the bathroom, may be coming from. The floor waste. The water trap may be empty.

Great view of Aldi rear wall! Black hair in coffee cup! Toilet would not flush! Stay somewhere else.

Great place to stay, fantastic view from my room and awesome location. Staff were quite friendly and the facilities were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We’d happily stay here again any time.

Last minute getaway to do work in peace. Staff friendly on arrival. I was assigned to a "Guest Room" which was a small box of a room with a bed and 2 bedside tables, ensuite, a fridge', iron and coffee making facilities.and that was it. No bedside lamps, telephone to call reception, no print on the wall, chair to sit on.nothing to make it look inviting or asthetically pleasing. All this for a rip offbprice of $271.00. Although my room was clean, I won't return again. I'm sure there's better value elsewhere. Ill try the Bellview next time.

Always a pleasure staying here. Rooms are always clean and well kept. All the extra amenities are great and a walking distance to shops.

Great joint used bbq's and I cleaned it before and after. Did not use scraper as I think it will scratches.
Both NO LIGHTS WORK AT BBQ'S.
Had to use bbq's before it got dark.
Gardens does not even work either.
No microwave in the room but has forks and a toaster go figure that one out.
