Beyond that, the course itself is so picturesque and is a nice challenging course to play. After the round, the clubhouse has an amazing bar with a good selection of drinks and food. Overall, it was a great experience at the Eastern Golf Club

We have just taken our 4 grandchildren to the movie night at the clubhouse and wanted to give a huge congratulations to the 2 staff running it. What a superb evening! The kids had an enjoyable night and loved both the movie, endless supply of popcorn and the pop tops. As for the big kids we had a stress free night watching the grandkids enjoy themselves and the movie choice was great.

Had a great game with my son Nick who is a member. Very challenging Greg Norman course but being maintained very well after the floods.

Friendly staff, beautiful scenery, lovely food. Nice walks through the bush along the river. Well worth a visit. And plenty of membership options to suit almost everyone. And not too far out of Melbourne.

We recently held our annual McGrath Golf day at Eastern GC and we just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff. Scott, Callum, Karen, Teegan, Charley, Sue on reception, Lee, Nikeeta, Kayla etc and anyone else I've forgotten.thanks again from Dean, Clinton, Grayson and myself.we will see you next year for sure! This is a superior golf facility and quality golf club. Plenty on offer throughout the club from the range, gym, games room and brilliant members bar.

Extremely friendly general manager. Fantastic guy picked us up when it was. Hailing dropped us back when it had cleared. Couldn’t get a better guy

This is the second time my partner and I have visited The Eastern Golf Club. We stay in the cottages as well to extend our trip. The staff are always friendly and super accomodating. The facilities are tidy and they have a great pro shop, driving range and restaurant. On our last trip we received amazing service from Scott and cannot thank him enough! We visited for our anniversary weekend and his service was beyond amazing and it truly made out weekend one to remember! We will definitely be returning to Eastern Golf Club again. Thanks guys!

Well, what can you say? What a venue, was staying with friends and went in for a snack and drink, just great even though it was so hot. How they play golf is beyond me, would recommend it too all.

Enjoyed the most lovely pre Christmas family luncheon with the dining room all to ourselves. Views are lovely and team were amazing. Incredibly we had the room to ourselves on the Saturday before Christmas.

Always love coming here, the food is great, the staff are amazing and the scenery is magnificent.

Pros:

- Okay course for a beginner as there are not many trees around.
- Children friendly
- New club house. Clean.

Cons:

- Gets boring after a couple months as it is just wide and long.
- Fly infestation during summer. You will swallow a few.
- Rude and arrogant club operator (just ask around about Scott B.to current or previous members and they all have some unpleasant stories to tell) GM is close buddy with this guy so he never gets fired or disciplined.
- You might think that you are a good play at Eastern but once you start visiting other tree line courses, you will realise how your handicap is misleading.
- Putting greens need improvement.

Excellent value for money if visiting as a social member. Superb views. Best steak that I have eaten in a long time.

Very comfortable lounge dining room, with courteous staff delivering an enjoyable snack menu. We'll be back. And we did. Nothing's changed.

This has to be one of the best golf courses around including the fantastic club house with excellent staff that made us feel so welcome

One of the best experiences ever! Myself and my partner never played golf before. We had the lovely Jake as our tutor. He is such a kind, patient and passionate young man. He made our experience one to remember and was very patient with us. The lesson was extremely comprehensive and he guided us very thoroughly. He has great customer skills and we enjoyed our time with him. Thank you Jake! Your a star:)

10 out of 10. I had the pleasure of being able to play here and it didn't disappoint. Pristine greens and fairways make this course what it is and although it's a hard course, it's enjoyable at the same time. Would recommend this to anyone who has a chance at playing here.
