A beautiful beach golf course, the natural scenery is very poetic, the grass is beautiful, there are many difficulties if the ball is not standard, the trees growing on the course are very beautiful.a memorable experience in Melbourne

Such a great golf course, testing greens, great mix of fairway challenges to over come. For me it's the amazingly friendly staff that just make this golf course great. Helpful & happy, & that's everyone there 10/10 Thank you.

Spectacular golf course close to the township of Rye, this challenging course offers something for everyone with windswept coastline long fairways and rolling greens. It's tough for a novice golfer but brings out your best and draws you back again and again.

Excellent public golf course, first rate 18 holes, average 9 hole "Cups" Course. Very good driving rage - grassed, very good chipping and practice putting area. Its in a lovely part of the Peninsula near the Hot Springs. The Dining area is dated and has average to poor food selection. The pro shop is staffed by friendly and helpful types. There are electric golf carts for hire. A lovely overall experience. Hard to book the main course however.

Great condition and fast greens. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed when we finished but we finished around 5pm on a Monday so understandable. Played well off the blue markers so love the course.

This is my favourite course (public access) down the peninsula by an absolute mile. Every hole is unique, creative and makes you really think about your shots. Overall an absolute pleasure to play!

Awesome course let down by customer service.
Mislead at booking as to numbers of books required at payment
Group of 5 in front that didnt make an effort after the 5th and no course marshal to move then on or seperate them, unsure of their initial booking situation.
Catering mid round very underwhelming.

Very busy with groups teeing off from 1 and 10, but understandable given removal of ring-of-steel and weather.
Love the course though.

A golf course with some blind tee shots and hidden bunkering!
Presentation certainly doesn't deserve 1 public course in Victoria, as all the others we played in Mornington had been better prepared.

If you want to have a coffee in a quiet venue on a busy day the café at the dunes Golf Club is just the ticket

Mostly in good to very good condition, a few bunkers req sand or a proper rake. VERY disappointing on course official WHOM WAS VERY ABUSIVE due to a slow group in front. Disgusting Behaviour from this person.

The Cups 9 hole course is a welcoming entry level challenge for beginners and a nice wake up for the experienced

Great course, fantastic layout but not the easiest walk consider a cart if you're the wrong side of 50

One of the best public courses I've ever seen and can be a very big test when the south winds are blowing.

Great layout, fun and challenging. Solid walk if you like me you prefer to do so.

We are members of The Dunes and regard it as great value, offering quality golf, friendly and hospitable sevice. The Club is highly regarded for quality golf across the Mornington Peninsula.

Course is built in classic Scottish links style. Hardly any trees, and some blind tee shots. Greens roll true (using bent grass, I think) and course is well maintained. If you haven't tried links course before, this is as close as it gets.

This is a wonderful golf club. Magnificent terrain great variety a true championship course but great for golfers of all abilities.
Friendly staff comfortable clubhouse.
