The Dubliner reviews
52 Great venue, first time in Mornington and was recommended the visit the Dubliner for a little taste of Ireland and boy did it not dissapoint.
The calamari was highly recommended and the Guinness was spot on too.
Will be back for sure
One of the best pubs to go to for a great night out. The food, music and service are all amazing. Highly recommend
Verry friendly staff, the boss is kind friendly helpfull, great atmosphere especially Trad Night.
Authentic Irish pub! Live music and yummy wholesome comfort food! In the winter time the spiced mulled wine is a must! I feel like I’m in Ireland!
Great local bar with a proper setup for serving Kilkenny and Guiness unlike some bars that seem to ruin the flavour with their tap setup.
The bar was bustling on a Saturday night as was expected, and there were plenty of gas heaters outdoors to keep you warm.
Just had dinner at this little gem in Mornington, cosy and inviting Beef & Guinness pie was delicious. Pint of the black stuff to wash it down. We'd love to come back again.
Obviously the Guinness and the Kilkenny was delicious. Defs go for that and the atmosphere. Excellent. Burger was ok. Pies looked pretty good too.
A fun evening entertained by Irish group "Tri Na Cheile" and many visiting musicians. Great Craic
Thri na cheile translated to English means"all over the place" which explains why numerous musicians come +play together IE jam session! Excellent service and courteous staff
Just had a lovely lunch - bangers, mash, peas and onion gravy and a half pint of Guinness - delicious & the Guinness went down beautifully
Risotto is amazing, Trivia Wednesday nights is super fun, plenty of seating tho the seats are uncomfortable, it still a lovely place, staff are incredible too.
Lovely spot, great pint of Guinness and a fantastic beef steak pie. I enjoyed it so much. Really recommend it for an afternoon out. Will call again.
Took my daughter for lunch. Ordered a burger & fish cakes with extra chips. Burger tasteless. Salads basic. Chips you could count on 2 hands.
Fish cakes were ‘off’. Tried a second one and knew by the taste they were not fresh. Advised staff who suggested replacing them with some ‘fresh’ newly made ones. Declined. Then suggested giving me chips to replace. Declined! They refunded the meal (minus chips). Never again.
I’ve travelled to Ireland and this meal is not indicative of this beautiful country.
Fabulous, fast & friendly service.
Delicious food that caters to gluten intolerant patrons.
I highly recommend the risotto and the potato skins.
Great service, welcoming staff, fantastic entertainment and best place to grab a cold Guinness on the Peninsula!
I’m sure All the reviews of this little gem are sweet and about there very fair priced exquisite food and beautiful live music, and they are 100% true but the staff are also willing to have a laugh, after a couple blokes were being pigs they were on board with allowing us to send them all bj shots anonymously. But in all seriousness the food was amazing and the atmosphere was Stella and as soon as they were aware there was a problem they dealt with them better than I thought possibly. The Guinness was flowing and the laughs were many and it was a good night.
Lunch was terrific. The meals were a little on the light side and were devoured quickly so I'd recommend several sides for your table. My mum and uncle enjoyed the quirky charm of the place and so did I. Cozy and intimate, good service and upbeat.
Great vibrancy about this place. Good food at a good price and Guiness on tap Yah. Highly recommend. Live music as well
Our afternoon was a bit too family oriented. A family on an agacent table had kids who though an adult bar was a kids playground, without any adult supervision. Not the bars fault, but not our either.
Great atmosphere the way the inside is decorated including the wonderful friendly staff.
Nice feel to the place, I actually felt like I was in Dublin Pie was
Enjoyed our night The Dubliner, food was good, nice atmosphere. One vegetarian option but it was a good, good chips.
