The District Docklands reviews
61 Great place for eatery, heaps to choose from. Wide variety.
Unfortunately most of the shopping stores have closed due to covid. Top floor is entertainment, e.g. Movies, artvo, play centre, there was a couple of other things.
I would go again as i feel sorry for the remaining stores. Though must say got a few bargains.
At the moment the circus is on. Very busy around that area.
Parking across the road was reasonable. Paid $8 for 4 hrs.
All come here to shop. One stop shopping with entertainment for kids. We spent the whole day here it was great. Give the docklands a go. It's very convenient with kids. Parking, food and shopping
District has been effect by COVID however signes of recovery are evident by the way the community gravitated to the precinct. The Melbourne Wheel and the vicinity around had great ambience. Additionally Costco was extremely busy.
Very good place bought a couple of things and they are amazing. Love how it's outdoors but was a little cold. There also are a lot of good places to go to and wonderful food places as well.
Good place to go when it's school holidays because they usually have events and activities on. But generally it's pretty quiet here unfortunately. Need more shops/traders. Over the years so many tenancies have closed down and nothing has reopened in its place. It has been a bit better since Woolworths opened though.
Nice and big shopping centre with multiple outlets, play centre for kids, the Melbourne star, multiple eating out options. Nice place to hang out.
I love to come here with my family. Very close to Costco and Ample parking space. Love shopping here and eaterys are excellent.
This review is specifically for Imaginaria. If you are thinking of going for your kids, I wouldn’t bother. It’s overpriced for what it is. There are six ‘worlds’ which are not what I’d call interactive. Certainly not for kids. We were in and out within half an hour. It lacked creativity and the staff lacked a sense of fun, which is what exhibits like this need.
Not many shops to look around and buy.but the entertainment for the recently school holidays for four days was nice to take the kid out to enjoy.food wasn't bad as there were places to eat and ice cream store to.if had a chance next time checking out the ArtVo as this time we had no go there as we were going elsewhere.beside this overall not bad
Interesting shopping centre. Very American vibe. Some great deals here and not too many people!
The Docklands has been a white elephant from the start. It is a cold and uninviting place all year round. The restaurants that are left are all expensive it's definite worth going to the CBD for a meal. My Wife and I stayed at the Sebel Hotel and it was the worst experience we ever had staying at a Hotel. I rather go back and stay at the Metropol. Only one descent restaurant at the Docklands was Tho Tho the food was great and their service was good too.
Decent shopping centre with all the big brands such as H&M, Ugg, Sketchers, Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurant, HOYTS and Bossini. But there is no such thing as free parking here, not for even one hour!
One stop shopping with entertainment for kids. We spent the whole day here it was great. Give the docklands a go. It's very convenient with kids. Parking, food and shopping
I love this place. It's insane. The mix of retailers is solid but it's the complete lack of a large crowd that boggles the mind for me. It's next to a major Melbourne attraction but still feels like an underappreciated gem.
Very nice coffee and banana bread delish shopping etc very pleasant even hairdressing school that provides a excellent service
Several dining options and shops to choose from. I like that there’s an outdoor shopping especially as I’m a bit paranoid with the coronavirus and all.
Has a lot to offer from restaurants cafes and your KFC and the line for the Ferris wheel was backed up over the walkway, first time I’ve seen it that busy in ages
Loved it here! First time coming here, didn't get to explore the whole mall but from what I saw I'll definitely be coming back!
Good to w walk around such a shame a lot of shops arn't there anymore due to covd but good to shop lots of cafes etc. Family friendly play ground for children
