I had a free consultation, Julia was knowledgable, honest, and gave me confidence in a plan moving forward for my skin.

This place pretty much destroyed my skin. I originally went because I had some light redness on my face. They suggested a quite intense course of skin needling and laser, once a month for 6 months. I had a bad reaction to the laser which I don’t know if was their fault (could have just been my skin’s reaction or could have been the way they did it, I can’t really say, though I’ve never had bad reactions to skin treatments before), but after the reaction they told me it meant I was going to get an amazing result. I absolutely did NOT get an amazing result. And what bothered me the most is that they never did any testing (eg a patch test) before starting intensive treatments, or really pay any attention to how something so intense might have a bad result for my skin.

Between the needling and the laser, not only did it not do anything at all for the redness I originally went in for (I later learnt that those treatments were never going to fix it, which further compounds this 1 star review) but it’s created a huge issue with ongoing inflammation and permanent scarring, and my face is now a different colour to the rest of my body (like I have a weird tan that stops at my neck). If you go in and they suggest an expensive treatment each month, I truly believe this is just a money grab, and has nothing to do with your skin concerns. I urge huge caution with this place. You’ll see a lot of 5 star reviews, because they offer you a free facial if you leave them a 5 star review after your first consultation but before your treatment. If you read the reviews you’ll see a lot of the 5 stars are after a consultation and not a treatment. So I’d dig a bit further before making and appointment.

The staff at The Derm Lab are very professional and kind. I went in for a consult and saw Julia. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and really helped me learn more about my skin and how to keep it healthy. We talked through everything and my routine to find one that best suits me! I highly recommend for a welcoming and warm experience!

If you want a hair transplant this is the place to go! I just can’t believe my results I am so happy. I lost my hair so badly and previously had two hair transplants elsewhere that went terrible. This is the place! Money so so well spent! Guys it’s worth every dollar! I’m so happy!

I have already done 2 sessions of EMSCULPT, since then I have got symptoms of urinate urgency, and it's out of my control. However, I have diastasis recti that 5.1cm, I was asymptomatic, the only thing I was worried is the appearance that I got after I had CS, and due to which I got diatesis recti. The appearance was even affecting my mental health, I already got surgery appointment which will be covered with Medicare but I was looking for other options besides surgery, I did a bit of research and I found about EMSCULPT, and I was so happy, still I have 4 sessions to be done. Till now no changes in the appearance, hopefully it will change by the end of the session. But I am not sure if the urine urgency side effects is temporary? Besides I love the place and the staffs are very nice, clean and sanitised properly. ️

All Staff were incredibly nice & super Friendly, Tahlia was awesome she put together a treatment plan addressing my concerns and had me leaving the Derm lab feeling super confident. Highly Recommend!

Im leaving this review in relation to a hair transplant that i recently underwent at The Dermlab. I want to send huge compliments and commendation to Christian & Sam for making this procedure/surgery the most seamless and comforting experience you could ever imagine. The care, attentiveness and hospitality I received on my day of surgery was overwhelming. They made sure I was 110% prepared before the surgery, being very diligent and cautious i understood everything that was going on. I can't put into words how well they treat you during this surgery. Nurses constantly checking up on you. The doctor (Sam) always asking if you're okay. Nothing was rushed and done to the highest standard. This is why it's important to understand that you truly get what you pay for. You get million dollar service for a percentile of the price. You can get this surgery done anywhere in the world, but i can atest that i truly dont think it can be done better than at The Dermlab. The ARTAS ix Robot was used during this procedure. The precision is unmatched. The robot scans and maps out your whole head to create the perfect hair line and hair insertions, so you get the fullest and best hair line possible. To conclude my review, Christian has a brilliant team of nurses that accompany you during the surgery, without them the procedure is not possible, a huge thanks and appreciation to Casey, Thalia, Maddy, Julia, Mel & Ly for being so supportive during and after the surgery. For anyone looking at getting a hair transplant, you will not get better than The Dermlab. Highly highly recommend. It's a surgery if done right once, once will last a life time.
