The Deck Southbank reviews
27We were here for a pre-theatre meal. $45 for 2 courses and $55 for 3, with a glass of wine. My friend and I both chose the Tuna tartarte and the trout. Both dishes were delicious, the trout so smooth and naturally tasty. The Deck is very popular for pre theatre, the service is prompt and courteous. Sourdough bread is complimentary, and so good. Definitely will return.
Great coffee, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.we only had coffees this time but the food being served looked great too. Well located and will definitely be back.
Was in a rush due to a business meeting and asked the waiter for something light and quick. The calamari salad came out quick and on point.
Service good
View great at night
Risotto could have had some more texture the duck was lost in the rice
Off the beaten track & a bit hidden upstairs but right in the heart of Southbank. Great for being able to have a proper conversation with friends. Nice staff. Reasonably priced & looked like good food. Will return for a meal & let you know!
They were so quick at getting my granddaughter's meal out but unfortunately the others took forever. The brussel sprouts were awesome as was the rest if the meal.
We enjoy our time at the Deck. With family, pre-theatre or just the Wife and I the experiance is always pleasurable. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is always welcoming.
On our last dining experience we ordered the Rigatoni Ragu, Spanner Crab linguini and shoe string fies. The fries were lovely, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside and lightly salted. The Ragu was full of chunky sausage and flavoursome mince. The only downside was the crab. This time it was a little bit complicated with the flavours. The crab was fighting for attention and not always winning.
But still a great night and highly reccomend.
