The Dava Hotel

They haven't changed menu in years. No flexibility eg. I wanted Mexican parma but not available for seniors. The sauce is available for others.

Went to eat and sink a few beers on the top deck, ordered a Parma, waited 2 hours and complained 5 times with no meal…. Or service of any type! Really disappointed as I love the dava and their deck up top.

Spent the evening at the Dava for NYE and was a time to remember

$20 pot & parma! What's not to like?
Totally edible food, would recommend a visit.
Staff were pleasant, beer was cold.

Been to the dava many many times over the years always been great but tonight was just fantastic in regards to the service towards my aons 4th birthday, the staff are amazingly helpful amd friendly! We forgot the candles for the cake and they helped us out with some to save the day! That alone has me wanting to come back! Not to mention a cake stand for it and no fee on cake plates like some other places! Kids have a blast in the play areas leaving the adults to conversate where we can see them! Food is beautiful only 4 star towards that side because it was missing a few ingredients in some meals, though highly recommend for any family outing! Great menu, great service, fair price good vibes!

Had a table of 8 with hardly anyone else in the place, only 3 people got their meals, poor management of staff. Poor food quality of what they got. Never again from locals.

Great spot especially in good weather to enjoy the deck upstairs, food was fantastic and kids playground is great to.

Beautifull dining room, great views to the city, staff extremely helpfull, food delicious

If I was blindfolded and fed one of these meals the first thing that would come to mind is cardboard

A family friendly day trip stop for lunch. Menu is pub food style with huge choices. At the deck has great ocean view. Will definitely come back again whenever I visit Mornington.

A nice place to recharge your batteries with great food reasonably priced beverages and good service

Honestly - just really bad, overpriced food and disinterested service. We have been trying for a decade - just coming back here and there to see if things have improved. This latest time - pale, floppy Parma, greasy fish and chips that tasted like bad fish and dirty oil. Veal ‘scallopini’ that looked and tasted like the bottom of a dirty fry pan. Lots of tables in the main bistro free, near windows and light, and yet, despite booking, we were placed in the back in front of an awful column - cut off from everything. Seriously - avoid!

Great beers, food was nice, a bit xy but not out of the park.

Honestly the best rooftop local! But the food is just awful! $35 for a share plate that was extremely dire! Have always wondered why it is not busier at the best spot in Mornington!

We went upstairs to the deck and had lunch outside, it was great, not many people there but the view is amazing, worth it just for the view

Great food. Staff couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. Will visit again in the future.

Understaffed. And they usually say they can’t get staff but that’s just rubbish. They don’t pay enough - hence the staff shortage. Steak was dry. Service was slow. And for mediocrity the price wasn’t cheap like it should be. Fail.

This was my first time at the Dava Hotel and it was lovely to eat there and the meal was delicious. I would recommend to anyone. Joanna Bell
