The Cups Estate reviews
79Menu is amazing, service is gold standard. A lovely hilltop restaurant, small but feels exclusive. 5 stars all the way.
Amazing food and service, great location with views. You certainly pay for it, but it's worth it!
Wow! Cups has to be some of the best food on the peninsula. The Chefs menu here is perfectly balanced, portioned and timed. Every single dish uses beautiful produce that perfectly balanced every flavour on the plate. Portions are great too that won't have you leaving hungry, but you'll definitely be wanting more. The staff here are fantastic! Friendly, know their stuff, very attentive and fun. The venue itself is small and intimate and has great views. Inside and outside dining available and the wines are decent too. This is a must try if in the area for the food.
It’s rare that when indulging in a degustation menu that I love every course. This was one of those rare times. Every mouthful was delicious. Do not pass up the add on truffled parmesan fries even if it means 4-3 this week instead of 5-2 diet. The wines were equally impressive and we enjoyed the Pinot Gris and Rosé particularly. Restaurant is simple and refined, views are beautiful and service was excellent. A lovely day and we will be back.
Beautiful food, beautiful view and great wine! Second visit and it didn't disappoint. We had two vegetarian guests and the chefs had no trouble adjusting the menu accordingly! Only downfall is they do not pick up the phone or respond to emails promptly, very hard to get in touch.
Keep an eye out for the owner's dog, she steals the show! Final note.bring back the sparkling shiraz!
Just had the most delicious lunch at the cups estate. Hats off to the chef’s! Served by the wonderful waiter Andy. I highly recommend coming to the cups if you like high quality food and service. I will be sure to be back soon.
Beautiful atmosphere, service, food and wine. All items on the set menu were delicious. The lamb was beautifully cooked to perfection and the donuts are a must have. We tried all the wines and the pinot noir and Chardonnay were favourites.
I purchased a $520 gift voucher from this company in early 2020. After spending months trying to make contact after everything with covid settled down I was finally told after a week of non-stop calling and emailing they couldn't offer me the package I purchased as their business set-up had changed and when I requested a refund of my money I was told they would "think about it" and get back to me. Never heard from them again. Have had to go to ombudsman. So disappointed that this business thinks they can steal money off customers. We all struggled through covid and I was still willing to support this business before being treated so appalling.
Had a really good time on my birthday, good food good wine and good staffs. Thanks for everything.
Unbelievable food, views and the service was incredible and super attentive thanks to Lee, Jacob and Grace. Thank you!
Staff not wearing masks. Had a reservation to sit outside. Weather was not good but didn't want to sit inside with 7 month old baby (Covid everywhere post new years). Decided to leave. Wanted to charge us $50 a head cancelation for a family of 4. Compromised by letting us buy $200 of wine. Not a good experience overall. Won't be back
Lovely day at The Cups Estate.
7 course menu for $75 per person.
All up spent $200 as we had a couple of coffees and wine glasses and a dessert to share.
The food was delicate, tasty and visually beautiful.
It’s a very small venue. 3 or 4 tables inside all very close together. Felt like we were having a conversation together.
Would go back for the food.
Amazing food and the best service I have ever experienced from the waiter. Simply incredible. Thanks for a wonderful lunch. 5 stars!
A beautiful little restaurant for anything between a wine tasting, cheese and meats, and a full lunch. Stunning menu with dishes created to be shared, and amazing wines to go with. Lovely staff and great ambiance. Calamari Tacos are a must! Definitely will come again
What a lovely place to have lunch. Food was so very delicious.what an amazing chef they have.
Wine list is very limited but overall Ok.
Great little wineary.
Food was to die for & service was 10/10.
Wonderful experience for a very special celebration with friends
Winery with meal service overlooking the beautiful scenery. You can only get the course meal which gives you 3 entree and 3 medium mains. Personally we felt the entrees are much better than the mains with the star being the beetroot salad. We would recommend book ahead as it gets busy and try to get seatings inside during warmer season to avoid the flies.

We attended to a lunch time on a Saturday to a six course chefs menu- as one of the first of serving the new menu! We were absolutely blown away by the food. The taste, presentation and experience of the menu at The Cups Estate was absolutely devine.
A few glasses of cuvée, and very generous platings of food as well as the wonderful wait staff made such an amazing afternoon.
Such a great place, and an enjoyable experience.
We had the chefs menu plus the calamari tacos. The food and estate vino were amazing
It was a cold wet day with fantastic views and great light.
Thoroughly recommend during winter and the service was exceptional.
Thank you for a lovely relaxing afternoon after playing golf at cape Schanck!
