The Cornerstone is a gorgeous old pub with contemporary renovations, discreet dining spaces, great food and friendly efficient staff. Looking forward to revisiting on our upcoming trip to Melbourne

Had rib eye and the Steaks were terrible. Ordered 2x medium rare, 1x came out medium, and the other came out completely well done. Requested another steak to replace the one that had been well done, and it came back as a completely different steak, super fatty and really thin (weird), yuk!

Beautiful settings at this historic stone building. Food is average, maybe due to restrictions of food voucher bought online, lack of variety allowed.

Awesome venue! Amazing selection of food, friendly staff, There’s just a great vibe & atmosphere about the place. It’s become my ‘go to’ local. Management are always buzzing around making sure you’re happy and will go above & beyond if your not. Highly rate & recommend to all.

Nice place for a meal and a cold beer. Surprisingly it wasn't expensive like everything else in Port Melbourne

Spent a sunny afternoon sitting outside here having a few cold beers. Service was fine. Followed up with a burger and chips for dinner. The food was good too.

Not bad. The wait staff could use some training other than that it's a decent place. Nothing much to say. Ohh and they need more variety of beer

The bar person was hopeless; poor service, offhand manner, poor communication, and bordering on rudeness. Won't go there again.

Cool little pub in Port Melbourne. The food is all tasty, with a menu that will cater to most people’s tastes and dietary require. The selection of wine is pretty good, the craft beer could be better, it would be nice to see some independent brewers on tap but what they’ve got it ok. Book the swings if you can! What a great novel way to enjoy the outdoor space. Bangers and mash for reference:)

This pub is pretty good. There's some decent food options for different types of appetites, including options for gluten free and vegan. Not to mention your classic chicken parmigiana and steak options you'll find in a pub. The pub is spacious inside and has some seating out the front and more options on the side, which include some swing seats. Nice idea, but not practical enough as your arms hit the chains when you're trying to eat.

Nice place, however our food arrived 20 minutes apart. My partner had to chase up where my order was. Atrocious service. Will not be back.

Service was slow. Food took ages despite being very quiet. Chicken burger was fried to an inch of its life. Steak sandwich was cold and very light on steak. Very disappointing.

Great venue with fantastic indoor and outdoor space. Food and booze options are great, as too is the service. Will definitely go back

Good food, and a decent selection of drinks. The service was slow (probably not helped by COVID restrictions), and rude when we weren't sure of our table number when paying. Probably wouldn't bother going again.

We had a good time at The Cornerstone. The owner did her very best to look after us. A few teething problems to sort out, but an enjoyable night we had. Being locals, we will be back.

Very happy with this place. It was the first pub I had been to since the easing of the restrictions. The lamb cutlets are pretty incredible and the signature pie is a must try. Friendly service and great range of tap beers. As for the price, some of the items are a little pricey for a pub feed but that shouldn't deter you from at least trying it out - they do have cheaper options on the menu also.

First time at The Cornerstone the presentation of the food was Fantastic but the most important thing the food tasted Sensational. Great work from all the staff we will be definitely be back

Came here a month ago with my wife. The place was under staffed and the drinks prices were through the roof! The bar tender was was stretched with responsibility; serving food, pouring drinks - so much so that he gave us our food without cutlery and serviettes. When we asked for these he gave us the serviettes (no cutlery) and rushed off. We ate our food with our fingers even though it wasn't really finger food.

The food is nice and the serving is good. We love the mash potato. We hope they'll add additional personnel specially servers, since the one on the counter is also the server. She works double time.

First time been to cornerstone and loved it. Friendly atmosphere and elegant place to relax on a Friday evening. The team are very friendly and fantastic.
