No gluten free buns and breads so I ate it without and it was still very nice and filling, great cider on tap

I have no idea how this place isn’t busier (although it’s very nice that it’s quiet) as it’s such an awesome pub. It’s huge and gorgeous inside, the swings outside are great and the food is delicious. The staff are so accommodating and pleasant even when we come with a group of wild toddlers. Big bonus: they have Guinness on tap

LOOOOOOVED the experience! Food was definitely an absolute winner. We were impressed with the salad that came with the chicken wings alone … but then WE TASTED THE CHICKEN WINGS and OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS they were DIVINE! Everything else that followed didn’t disappoint. The band was seriously epic too. It was rather quiet when we were here but we couldn’t see why, this place should be pumping! Defs recommend a visit, even if it’s just for the wings and a bottle of wine to share

Be even better if they had a pool table! (Hint hint)

Terrible atmosphere.
Quiet Thursday night meal turned into a noisy one full of filthy obscenities by live performance.

Terrible customer service. Had my family and I waiting to be served whilst we watched others who came in after us be served. The man who showed us our table sat at the car and started eating.

Amazing venue in a prime location - beautiful old building with the feeling of great history. Delicious well sized meals, all served at the same time with quick turnaround and service was 5 star from our server Cassie. She made everything feel organised and relaxed! Thank you for having us to celebrate our mothers 70th birthday lunch (all 17 of us). We’ll be back

By far the best steak sandwich I have had.
The kids had chicken nuggets + a cheese burger and they were delicious also. Great vibe and staff were super friendly and helpful!

This place is fantastic. Had a large group visit The Cornerstone on a Friday night. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Cassie looked after us so well as did other member of the team.
Cassie was polite, efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time

Thank you to all the staff of The Cornerstone for going above and beyond in hosting the after party of our (Secret) wedding. From the very beginning manager Nathan answered all our questions, email and phone calls and made the planning process so easy. The day before the party we had full access to the fantastic and perfectly sized function room to decorate it however we wanted to. On the night, the wonderful Cassie was out bar manager and everything went perfectly for us and our 40 guests. Nothing was a problem, the food was lovely (all our guests said the same!) and we had the best night. Thank you once again Nathan, Cassie and Staff, we look forward for dropping in for dinner in the near future.

We recently celebrated our daughter's 21st in the upstairs function room. Staff were extremely helpful and very easy going, Mitch (the bartender) in particular made the night fun and enjoyable, eliminating any stress instantly! Nearly every guest commented on what a great guy he was. Extremely well priced compared to every other venue we looked at and the function room was exactly the look and feel we were after. I would highly recommend The Cornerstone for your next function, or just for an awesome meal (by the way their chips and chicken parma are great!).

Bianca is the worst barmaid/hostess, we, as a party have ever dealt with. Rude, abrupt, dismissive and condescending. Stomped around the joint and generally showed contempt to all patrons. Never again.

The best experience ever for any one visiting to have a good drink or food at cornerstone pub Port Melbourne

The bartender Mitch had fantastic service, great for a chat and the place had a great, casual vibe. Good place for a quick (or long) drink.

Live band was so much fun. Fanny had great customer service and was so lovely. Would come back!

Not good. Burger buns were stale. Burgers tasted strange and unpleasant - sort of smoky and sweet. Pretty sure the burgers contain minced bacon, so pork dodgers, beware, as it’s not listed on the menu. Kids burger was served rare.

Ordering process was difficult, as the app wasn’t working. Service was slow for food and drinks, despite it being a quiet night in the bar. Kids waited over 30 minutes for meals, adults food took quite a bit longer. It’s a shame, we skipped our usual for this but probably won’t come here again.

Celebrated our daughters 1st birthday there today. The staff made the day awesome due to their attentiveness and they even offered to clean up all of the balloons we brought in for decoration. All our guests had an amazing time thanks to them and the space they provided.

Fabulous local establishment. Great team on the bar & delicious food (try the quesadilla with chicken). Also every time you support here, it is supporting a non big pub venue & allowing for pub independence. No review is complete without telling everyone to come to mottsy s trivia night on a Wednesday. Well done Natalie & Nish!

I hired the gorgeous function room for a workshop this weekend. The space is wonderful and my guests loved it too. With massive windows giving loads of natural light it was the perfect place to run this workshop and I'll be booking this space for future events.
