The Comic's Lounge

It's our go-to place to see the Indian stand up comedians perform in Melbourne. They are usually quite organised but in one of our last visits, we saw them struggle a bit and do makeshift arrangements after going overcapacity for a show.

I’ve been coming here for the past two years on a regular basis and I never leave disappointed. If you’re looking for a good night out full of laughed, then this is the place to go. Prices are so reasonable and the Bar staff are the bomb and make the best cocktails

My first time going to a comedy show. It was such a good night filled with laughter! The entry fee is TOTALLY worth every cent. You can table order food which is consumed before the acts (they give you enough time to socialise and eat before the show). The food is reasonable. During the intermission they will do promotions which is really good if you want unlimited access for a year or group passes. I really like that they do a countdown before they start with the acts. Great night with heaps of friends. We did this as a work outing.

A quality establishment. International Comics pop in sometimes unanounced and the homegrown acts never fail to entertain. Hats off to all involved.

Great place, funny comedians and an overall great experience. We will definitely be back soon. Just what we needed. Good work guys.

Didn't enjoy our time, the stand up comedians was not well prepared and looked lost on stage, he even admitted that he forgot his jokes. Seating area needs to be more organised

Fabulous place - always a great laugh and good value here and thank you so much to the Management for honouring our tickets tonight because our flight from Perth yesterday was cancelled and we couldn’t make the Friday night show as planned.great customer service guys.you are legends!

Awesome place. We love it, it’s a great night out. The comedians are all very funny and well worth seeing. Comfortable seating and yummy food. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often. If you are local do yourself s favour and buy a Gold Pass.

What a great place. Staff were efficient and friendly, food and drink were delicious and priced well. A guaranteed fun relaxed night out full of laughs.

The night was amazing! The show was brilliant and the staff were genuinely nice. They performed their jobs in a professional and friendly manner. Could not recommend more. Only four stars because it was my first visit and I hope any future experiences are even better!

Amazing staff, cool comedians options of a dinner and show. Comics lounge always good in need of a laugh. Sometimes even surprise guests like 'Chris Rock' which I was fortunate to see!

A really good show. And a decent place to get food or a couple of beers. I would recommend the cocktails-they were average. But a good experience/ thing to do.

A line up of comedians, delicious food & affordable for a good night out. Would 10p% recommend the "gold package" where $50 gets you and a friend unlimited access to their comedy nights. Head there to see upcoming comedians and occasionally, returning legends.

Definitely a must do. Easy to find. Good amount of intermissions. Food wasn't too bad but would have to try the whole menu to give a better review. Decent sized servings all in all money well spent.

Went in tonight to se the amazing Butterfield. Initially there service was great and the staff were lovely. However we were asked to leave some items at the front desk and grab them once the show had finished. When we went back another security guard out the front was completely rude, didn't want to give us our stuff back and then only gave half of it back. After this he turned his back to us and ignored us.

Unfortunately this will be the lasting impression on this place, getting treated like poorly is unnecessary and taking our items and not giving them back is not only unprofessional but disappointing.

On word of advice, watch how the security guards treat your customers.

Nice comedy club, well-structured and organised. Good venue on Tuesday nights with different comedians: no risk to spend an evening with a comedian you don't like and it's good to enjoy different senses of humour.

Too bad the service was not as good as the comedy. Staff dont answer enquiries or answer questions. I have sent 4 emails and am yet to receive an answer to my enquiry and this was after I asked 3 different staff memebers to be ignored. The staff turned their back and walked away from me. I found it very rude. Probably wont fo back there. Too bad the comedy was great

This place is great for a good laugh. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the bevs was tasty, the comedic line-up was hilarious and the crowd brought the room a great ambience! Definitely would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Had an incredible time with my friends last Thursday. Great comedians, great host and overall a good experience while you have a drink and are not feeling like partying hard on a friday. 100% Recommended
